This is not tempered glass, but still works GREAT. The install was easy after watching the how-to video. My phone had a 3-foot drop, and something pierced the film. I regretted purchasing the product because the pointed stone tore through the film. I just knew that my screen was damaged, but I left the film on until the new tempered glass screen protector arrived. When I went to install the other screen protector, I did not see any damage to my screen. I was shocked. I tried the tempered glass, but found that I liked the Magic John film better. I had zero issues with my fingerprint sensor, and it protected my screen just fine. I just installed the 2nd film out of this pack and tossed out the tempered glass screen protectors.

There was a time in my life when I would have said I was quite good at applying screen protectors. This is not that time. I put this on and the screen was absolutely covered in bubbles. I had (mostly) followed the directions so I was quite surprised at just how poorly I'd applied it. I was able to work some of the worst bubbles out with the included squeegee but I made it even worse by peeling it back and reapplying the protector at the top of the phone.Sure, the bubbles "will work out in time." I just figured I'd have to remove it and try again, but I had to travel for a few days so I left it all bubbly.The first two days were embarrassing. I turned my screen off and... bubbles everywhere. But somehow, a few days later, on the flight home, I noticed that the bubbles were all but gone. Indeed when the flight landed the bubbles were completely gone. Perfect application.

This is a awesome screen protector. I bought the 2 pack a year ago and just installed the second protector. After dropping it a few times on the display, it left a impressions on the protector, but it was still clear and usable. The alignment tool made it easy to install and the rigid squeegee made it easy to get even the smallest air pockets out. This screen also works great with the display finger print security feature. We use Magic John on all of our phones.
