We live in rural Wisconsin. This winter the snow plows hit our mailbox several times. Initially we added some small orange flags on the mailbox to try to help them see and avoid it, but they did no good. We bought some screw on reflectors for the wood post, and this tape for the box itself. I wasn't sure how well it would hold up, especially being applied in cold conditions, but it has held up so far. I even cut a small piece around 1/4 inch wide to stick to the edge of the mailbox door. I figured it would not last, but was worth a try. It is still there after several weeks, including temperature extremes and plenty of rain and snow. The mailbox is enamel coated metal. Since adding both types of reflectors we have had plows come by, and none have hit our mailbox.

This is a very good product. I use it to mark my vehicle on the back lower bumper as a warning so I don’t get re-air ended. I am 83 years old. I’ve been driving since I was 16 and I have been rear ended several times. Including during my two tour in Vietnam.

So far this tape is both durable and foldable. The adhesive works fine on utv panels, rv trailer side walls. Also folded onto a reflective pole but has tendency to slip so adhesive could be a tad stronger.

Not flexible, very stiff. Tried to wrap this around my dogs collars and it would not hold. Even clapped it overnight and it popped off right away. Doesn't adhere to itself. But very reflective. May work better on smooth, flat surfaces.

I usually only trust name brands with things like this, but since it claims to be DOT certified, I gave it a try.Man this stuff is really reflective! Im impressed with how well it reflects, and how bright it looks. Even with a slight amount of light its bright.The adhesive seems pretty strong. As always, prep is the most important step. Use 90% alcohol and clean the surface well. I used the alcohol bottle to roll the tape on to ensure adhesion and remove air bubbles.Easy to cut with scissors and a utility knife. My lines came out clean.Can be a bit hard to peel the backing, as the tape is an assembly of several layers. One must be careful to not pull the tape apart.If the adhesive or the reflective properties fail, I'll update this review.

Great to cut to fit and stick on any clean surface.Using on all my stuff that I don’t want to get hit at night.

So, I tried out this reflective tape, and it's pretty good overall. The visibility is solid, especially in lowlight, which is a big win for safety. However, the sticky part was a bit of a headache. Removing the adhesive film turned out to be tougher than I thought. It's not a deal-breaker though.
