Good kit for the price.
The skimming blades look to be just as good a quality as name brand, just missing one minor processing step. Feeling the edge of the blades I could tell they were cut by stamping - one side was smooth, other had a slight lip. The minor problem is that some blades had the correct orientation of smooth side down while others had the lip facing down. That little lip will cause problems in usage. But it's simple enough to fix with a few passes of fine grain sandpaper. The other expected issue is that the included pole is simply bad. Would be better if it just weren't included. Good news is that the interface between it and the head is effectively a standard 1" diameter with a pin through it. So you can easily use any 1" diameter pole that you're fine drilling a hole through for the pin.

Quality construction but critical design flaw seen in many brands
I have the kezers masonry trowel set and really like it and I was hoping to enjoy these as well. I submit my review from the perspective of a seasoned tradesman. The blades themselves are fine. Likely to knock off an end cap when taking off the pole adapter. Not a big deal. What cost a star is the adapter design and telescoping pole. While they function just fine in demonstration, this is not suitable for daily use. No day in and day out drywall guy is going to want to fiddle with an alien wrench to adjust the angle on the adapter. Not going to happen. Should have been a little knob I can spin with my fingers. Full stop. They almost have it on the telescoping pole. Twist to loosen, adjust, twist to tighten. Simple, right? Yes, when your hands are dry and clean. Get some drywall mud on that pole or your hand and then let's see this adjustable magic trick go down. Yeah you can put some kind of grippy tape on the segments to help, but we aren't done yet. The twist to adjust function has a conflict with how drywall mud is applied. If I wanna put more pressure on the left side of the blade, I have to twist the pole to do that as I skim the wall... But twisting the pole to the left loosens it, and now the blade is flopping around at the end of the pole and messed up your pass on the wall. I did a test to see if I could tighten the pole and then put pressure on the adapter. I didn't use a blade because there was no need to. After tightening the pole pretty hard by hand I put the adapter on the ceiling and twisted the pole to put pressure on the left. After a second or so the pole loosened up and the test was over. I used a moderate amount of pressure, maybe as much as I would put on the edge of a drywall knife. This will not do. They do have it right with the pin connecting the pole to the adapter, but the hole in the adapter is larger than your standard end on any good paint pole, so the telescoping pole that comes with these blades is not easy to replace with something compatible. Then for the cost of a new pole, customization, time and effort, I decided I had to return these and find something else.

Nice product at a reasonable price
I have had no issues with this product. I have been using it for some time now. I find the 24 inch blade to be the most helpful. The larger blade being a little more tricky to use on the included telescopic pole. Do to its size it can torque the pole and loosen the pole sections. This can cause the blade to rotate for parallel and cause a mud line. Not a big deal to tighten and go over the area again. I should add that I am working on 115 year old plaster and lath walls and ceilings. Trying to get a flat surface in the situation requires multiple coats on mud. But its is so much faster with these blades then when I used 12 inch taping knives by hand. Would be amazing on new flat drywall installations. Easy clean up and the blades remain flat even when carelessly dropped or flexed. Comes with spares in case of too much damage but I havent found reason to replace this far. Much less expensive then level 5 products, putting in the hands of more do it yourself users.

high quality product
Very solid product. the end caps came off a few times but nothing a little super glue can't take care of. Will take a bit of practice, as the years of using a trowel comes more natural. The worst part is getting the material on the wall then not getting the excess on the floor or yourself if working above. Take note how everything is in the case, as it has to go back in exactly the way it came out. Overall great product. Hope it lasts and will see how good the steel really is.

OVER RATED
This set isn't as good as its ratings suggest. 1. Handle doesn't lock in place and continues to spin around. Had to use tape to make it secure. 2. The 12" blade fell out as I was skimming a ceiling panel....not a fun mess. 3. Blades are okay, but a little more flimsy than that of another tool I gave.

Nice tool set, decent quality with aluminum body.... Good replacement screws and extra blades... Worth every penny only thing I have to say is the case is too small to conveniently pack everything away... Even fully disassembled it's still a jigsaw puzzle to get the lid closed. No padding in the case either. A bigger/ slightly wider case with padding would make this kit 10 out of 10

Where plastic meets the pole, it broke first stroke.
