If someone looking at this item wants to know if it fits the cup holders in a 2nd generation Honda Ridgeline, the answer is yes. I have a 2018. The "can" fits in the center console cup holder, but that is not where I keep it. It also fits almost like it was made for it, in the small rectangular space just below and forward of the arm rest on both front doors. Situated there, it is surprising accessible even with the doors closed. It is very handy and occupies a space that I wouldn't otherwise use. I had a round "can" with a similar lid that fits the cup holders just fine, but is slightly too large in diameter to fit well in the door space. This little can is a good choice for the Ridgeline because it frees up a cup holder.As mentioned in other reviews, this is a small container, with the approximate capacity of a large coffee cup; useful for small pieces of trash such as gum wrappers, drinking straw sleeves, toothpicks, tissue paper, etc. It is much too small for the leavings form a bag of hamburgers and fries.

I think I liked the idea of this more than anything else. I bought one for myself and one for my husband. He finds it impractical to use unless the trash is quite small. Mine will only fit into 1 cup-holder in my car (out of 8), and it is not the most convenient one...

Love this tiny trash receptacle and am going to buy another for the other car. It fits perfectly into the drink pocket in the door, where it is unobtrusive and out of the way. Tissues, toothpicks,candy wrappers, apple cores.....it all goes in and keeps the car cleaner. Yes, it is small. But that is why it is so handy. After a trip, I just bring it in, dump it out and give it a rinse as needed.
