High quality and durable Trail Cam
6/23/19 update - I'm very impressed with the performance and durability of this trail cam. I placed the trail cam in the woods on 4/27/19, checked on the trail cam today and found the camera on the ground facing up. At first I thought it was vandalized, but found out after looking at the first picture captured on 5/2/19, it was broken off it mounting bracket by a black bear while it was scratching it's back on my hunting stand. The trail cam was mounted about 4 feet off the ground on one of the upright of the high stand. The picture showed the bear's ear in front of the camera. I was shocked that the camera continued to take pictures even laying on the ground. The camera took 4,452 pictures and the battery still have 1/4 power remaining. Unfortunately 4,451 pictures show the top of the trees and the hunting stand (see photos). This is one incredible trail cam!original post: Gosira wildlife trail camera has the features of a name brand trail cam. Upon first inspection of the camera, it looks well built, compact, and camouflaged to blend in with the woodland. This trail cam is loaded with top end features: up to 12 megapixel photo resolution, up to 1080P video recording, internal 2.4” digital screen and user friendly buttons to setup the parameters and review recorded images and video clips right on the trail cam. However one concern I have is the camera is IP66 rated which is not waterproof, only splash proof, not sure if this would stand up to a heavy downpour. Also the trigger speed is 0.5 seconds which is fast but it would be nice to have a trigger speed less than 0.5 seconds. It also have a external battery power supply port which only top end cameras have.I placed the trail cam in the woods on 6/16/18 to field test the unit for several weeks. I retrieved the trailcam on 7/28/18 and the battery meter shows 3 out of 4 bars indicating it still have plenty of power remaining. To my surprise, the unit stayed bone dry throughout heavy downpours over the one month period, It has been a unusually wet summer in NY. As you can see the daytime photos were great, good resolution, clarity and color saturation. However as dawn approaches the pictures starts to get grainy and fuzzy, but this is still acceptable. The night time infrared photos (black & white) were not bad at all. The infrared light illumination seems to be concentrated in the center and not spread evenly across the camera’s field of view. Unfortunately there was only two night time pictures, one of a black bear and the other of brushes (no animal). I need to investigate further to see if all the infrared LEDs are all functioning or the unit was designed to focus the infrared LED on the center of the object. Overall I’m very satisfied with this trail cam’s performance. I left the unit in the woods and will check on it again in September.

Great pictures, easy set up. Love it!
We bought this for our son's science fair project. He was doing a tally project of the different kinds of animals who travel through our yard during the day and night. It was a great project (ok, yeah...I'm a little biased) The pictures were good enough that we were able to print many for the science fair display, they are really clear and detailed...even the night ones. We actually got some of the best "action shots" of our son playing with his dog in the back yard that have ever been taken. I'm getting them printed for framing. The point is, the quality of the photos this camera takes is good enough to print and display them if you choose. And yes, even though the project is over we still keep the camera set up because it's so much fun. It's a great product and worked really well. The price was right too.

Nice camera...
and the reason we only gave it 3 stars is because the instructions are horrible. Once we figured it out though it seems like it'll be perfect, we'll find out tonight! We're new to our neighborhood and have a little dog. We got this for 3 reasons. Heard there's coyote & we wanna make sure they're not in our yard. Also want to see if skunks are going under the deck and, somebody's dog/horse (heehee) is pooping in our yard and we'd like to find out who it is so we know our dog isn't in danger.

Clear picture, easy setup
So far so good - super easy to get started, and love being able to watch on the device instead of taking out the SDCard to bring back to the house to watch. Great first camera. Still, we've had it out there for about a week, and haven't seen much. Wonder if that's related to trigger time or location. Trying a new spot, and will update. Still - fun home science for the kids. Thanks.

Not waterproof!
Pictures were good, average for this style. My issue was moisture. The lens fogs up on the inside so any time it rained or early morning dew you get unclear photos. Eventually the moisture got so bad it stopped working all together.

I see you.
Works ok. The only issue, is the SD card is limited to 32gb.

Perfect night vision~
The trail camera is exactly what I was looking for!I had two other brands that were nowhere near the proven and reliable indestructibility of this proven product. It’s easy to use and setup.Other facts:-short triggering on photo and video-Hidden color which does checking of captured images-cheaper than other trail camera as well.-Perfect Night Vision EffectI would like to recommend this good trail camera to my friends. Happy shopping!

Good camera and amazing battery life
I haven’t used many game cameras but of the handful I have tried in the past this is one of the best ones. My favorite thing about it is the battery life. I put in amazon batteries and was able to get 6 months of photos and videos during temps ranging from 90 to -5f. There is nothing worse than having a trail cam out and pulling the card to find that your batteries have died. Not a problem with this one. It’s pretty easy to set up and takes good pictures during both daylight and nighttime scenarios. I would buy again
