Callaway Golf 2023 Paradym Fairway Wood

With Callaway's release of AI Smoke models in 2024, these 2023 Paradym woods have come down significantly in cost. Decided it was time to upgrade from the 25-year-old woods that are in my bag. Picked up Driver, 3W, and 5W. Might get a 7W as well, once I settle on a ball that matches with them and get my new distances worked out, which will probably mean dropping a longer iron or two. With the 60g stiff shaft, I feel like I can't miss. They look great at address, swing easy, feel and sound amazing. They hit longer, are more workable, are more forgiving in left-right dispersion compared to my older woods. I'm not the type to go chasing the newest gear to improve my game, but if you're still hitting clubs from the early 2000s, the bottom line is that this generation of technology is light years ahead. It will help improve your scores.Only one minor issue; the 5W came with a 3W head cover. The cover itself is exactly the same, just the little plastic tag reads 3.

I love this club and hit it great. Some may not like this but I love how heavy the club head is. Heaviest club I have by a mile but I love the way I can feel it on my down swing. Very skinny face from top to bottom so don’t use a tee from the box if driving with it.

The dispersion is amazing with this club. Due to little dispersion you can hit this club with confidence. I used to hit my 5 iron where I wanted and the distance 3/10x....with this club it's more like 7/10x. I simply replaced my 5 iron with this 9wood in my bag. Never have to question if I should hit a 5 anymore. Just ordered the 7 wood for the 200+ yd shot. For measuring purpose I hit my Driver 250ish, 9iron 140, 7iron 165. Hopefully this helps you make the decision to purchase or not.
