With one small improvement and this would be a 5 star rating. For reasons that can't be explained this bird house uses a nail in the front to keep the right side panel secure. A big reason for access to the inside of the bird house is to observe from time to time. If you select this unit you may want to modify the way it closes so that you don't have to go grab a tool every time you want to peek inside.That said this is a well built item at a fair price and with the addition of a hook and eye latch I'm sure you'll be pleased.

I love this house!!! It's well constructed. Was super easy to hang. With one minute, literally, of attaching to a tree a chickadee flew into the hole. It was amazing. You won't be disappointed with this. I would absolutely recommend it!!

Seems like a good Bird house, I have bought several different ones and the only criticism I can find is some of the house you don't need a screw driver to open and close.

I know absolutely nothing about how birdhouses should be built, but for what it's worth: the house seems well put together and it appears that it will withstand weather for years. I would buy another one or recommend it to my friends.

This is put together well and should work great. You need to start the top screw before you get to the post/tree etc. where you will hang the house. You need a long screwdriver for that screw but the house is great.
