Out of compromise though still with disgust, I find myself living with a cat because of my boyfriend (the feline beast's father). I cannot stand pet hair on my clothes, or on anything at all actually hence my annoyance with these silly creatures.My Dyson cleans the floor flawlessly, and I have a furniture brush that handles the hair on that though I found myself still pissed with the endless amount of hair I find everywhere. So I figured its time to hit the root of all this madness. My boyfriend already had a cheaply wooden brush, and he bought the silicone glove. The brush was ok, but it was annoying to clean and it handled poorly. The glove worked nice as well, but again cleaning the hair off this tool was also an annoyance.So I decided to get this brush because of the ease of self cleaning; push the button on top and it will dispense the build-up of cat hair. And I am happy to say cleaning the cat has never been easier. The handle on the brush is comfortable on the hands while providing ample grip. The metal bristles perform beautifully, and with every stroke of the brush I'm just amazed on how much loose hair this pest of a cat produces.Great product with awesome results. Now when the cat sees me grabbing the brush she immediately rolls on her back, and starts purring. Spoiled brat.

My cats and dogs like getting groomed by this and it so easy to clean. Better than the furminater cause the furminater rips the fur out. This one feels more like actually brushing out the loose fur. Really gets the job done.

Great grooming tool! So easy to clean hair from brush. Smooth on multiple types of hair.

This brush works great with my short haired cat and my dog (lab)... especially the lab. And I love the way you can press the button to release the fur/hair. However, as shown in the pics, eventually the pins get kitty-wampus and don't go back in correctly. This results in bent pins which don't go through the grids anymore and just keep getting more bent. So, for the price, it's good for my dog. But I wouldn't buy for long haired cats or anything that requires using the button excessively. If I knew this in advance, I would only use on my dog and be more careful of the pushing the button/ensuring the pins are lined up nicely.

I was nervous since this product was less expensive than other similar brushes I saw, but was pleasantly surprised when I got it - good quality, easy to use/release fur and the dog absolutely loves it! He can’t get enough! (The bristles are perfect for a good scratching!)

We've brushed both cats with this. The yellow one hates it. (But she hates all brushes, so that's no surprise.) The black one loves it. In both coats, the brush did well. Easy to clean off the fur with the button-push "retraction" feature. Handle thick enough that my arthritic mother can hold the brush securely.

So far so good, worth the price, my cat likes it.

Product is good, does the job perfectly, clears the fur, gives comfort to my kitten. But its not as easy to remove the fur from brush as they shows.

Gets all the excess fur from my cats, I didn't realise actually how much they were shedding, or not, until I used this self cleaning pet brush. My cat doesn't like being brushed usually so he gets a bit knotty but this brush was easy to use to get rid of all the excess fur.
