I ordered this item for my granddaughter who recently acquired 2 guinea pigs, something she's wanted for years. It holds an ample amount of hay, and she particularly likes that it has 2 openings for feeding, so her pigs don't have to fight over food. Also, she had a smaller feeder that wasn't working because the pigs would occasionally get their heads stuck in the opening. This feeder does not have that issue, and it also connects to their cage very easily.The one negative she's found is somehow the bottom of the feeder gets wet from their urine, no matter how high she connects to the cage wall. She is not quite sure how this is happening, and it may be due to any flaw in the feeder. Otherwise the feeder is great, and she is very happy with it.
