Way More Than I Expected for the Price
I was honestly surprised by how good this VIVOSUN grow tent setup is, especially for how affordable it is compared to others out there. You always worry that “cheaper” means you’ll have to sacrifice on quality — but not in this case. The tent itself feels premium. The mylar lining is super thick and really reflects light well — it’s like having a light amplifier inside. The metal poles are strong and lock in place solidly. Nothing wobbles or sags, even with my fan, filter, and grow light all mounted inside. You can tell they didn’t cut corners with materials. And let me just say — the grow light is amazing. My plants absolutely love it. I noticed stronger growth and tighter nodes even in the first week. The app control is the cherry on top. I can adjust the light intensity, schedule, fan speed, and even the vent system right from my phone. It’s honestly wild how much control you get in such a reasonably priced setup. This tent has made my grow feel dialed in and professional — without spending a fortune. It’s secure, efficient, and just works. If you’re on the fence or working with a budget, I seriously recommend this one. You get way more than what you pay for, and your plants will show it.

Absolutely Awesome Product Vivosun
Dear everyone, sorry my review is so late but I really wanted to spend a whole year of growing my Cannabis before I gave my review of the product. And what a beautiful kit it is, the package is a complete set with everything you need to start your growing. The instructions for assembly are very thorough and all the parts are all packaged very securely and professionally. I was able to assemble the canopy and frame all by myself due to my height but another person helping would make things easier. The only change I made was I added a Black Magic hydroponic pail system that fits perfectly, instead of using the grow bags that come in the kit. The two products work beautifully together and look like they were built for one another. The other thing I opted for was the Vivosun circulating fan, which my ladies loved, keeping them healthy and pest free. All this awesomeness comes together with the Vivosun App, allowing you to monitor and adjust settings via your phone through wifi. Thank you Vivosun for such a wonderful gift and Amazon for carrying the stellar product. And thank you for taking the time to read my review.

Best Buy not even just for your buck.
So, I didn’t do much research initially. I looked for like systems and this one seems similar with a cheaper price tag. I bought it, put it together with ease, dropped the inline fan because I’m clumsy and contacted customer service. I had a new one before I knew it, literally two days after proving it wasn’t working. I have been looking to buy a second tent to expand to grow more plants and I have been checking out AC infinity. They seem similar but they are more expensive. They have super cool extra parts if you really want to dial your grow tent in like their thermoforge heater. My only complaint is that these don’t plug into the VIVOSUN control panel and I wish that worked. But that extra by AC and their humidity controller is super cool. So VIVOSUN make something like that that plugs in. But after getting the AC heater I really don’t like how the control system works on it and noticed their tent control panel is very similar. Also after doing research VIVOSUN Mylar coating reflects light better. It’s got better corner reinforcement to prevent tent ripping. Look, this tent rocks. I’m sponsored, just a first time grow enthusiast and long story short, I’m about to buy another one. VIVOSUN, create a better tent heat system and humidity control system please! But your tent is awesome. As for gorilla tent. If you like blowing cash go for it. Me, I like my Money. AAR complete. Update. Did some research and they make an awesome humidifier so maybe they do make a better heater too. I’m now looking. Anyways, buy this tent - system. Trust me .

Pretty good man, pretty good
Overall it’s a decent setup for the price. I paid 258 with a Black Friday deal and I’d say it was worth it. Negatives With the light on and the tent sealed up I can see light around the zipper and window. Not much but any visible light worries me. With the fan and filter assembled it doesn’t fit inside the tent. Maybe an inch or two too long. I have the 48” tall version so I had to install everything on my knees. One ratchet rope hanger broke and wouldn’t move either direction. Positives Seems like quality hardware. The inline fan is pretty decent and probably over powered for my little tent. The controller hub and app is great. Simple to use, very intuitive. There is a pocket for the Ethernet and thermostat probe and anything else you need to connect to the controller. It’s nice to have it placed so the controller hub is useable and clean looking while having 3-4 cords connected. The app controls everything and for someone new to automation it’s mind blowing at first. I love it. Journaling in the app is pretty decent. Would be better if we could import data like temp and humidity ranges from the thermostat. Tent is decent quality. Set up was simple. Clip the poles together. Unfold and unzip the tent. Wrap tent around poles and zip. Ez-pz. Comes with all the hanging hardware you need. More than I needed.

Everything you need.
This set has everything you need to start your grow and then some. The fan and light attach directly to the grow hub. There is also a temperature plug for the inside temp of your tent. The hub has a sensor for the outside temp. I attempted to set the hub settings using the actual hub and found that a little challenging, but I soon realized it was much easier to download the app and set my settings there. As far as the tent and contents, the instructions were very clear. The tent was easy to set up and the connections for the attachments only fit into one slot so there was really no guesswork required. The tent is a 2x2 so I set the fan and carbon filter outside the tent to provide a little more room for plants to grow. You may want to buy an oscillating fan or add a fan of some sort for air circulation. I went with the Vivosun fan as it connects to the hub. The box at the bottom did not come with the tent. It was something I bought to bottom feed my plants. Overall I am pleased with my purchase. If I had been paying attention I would have waited until Amazon Prime Day because the tent was deeply discounted… still worth every dollar I spent.

You are paying for convenience, not innovation.
Edit: I bumped it up another star because I really like the app that controls the control center. Seriously, love the app. Original review: They (the creator’s) say “Attention to Every Detail” but I found that not to be true. Here’s a Pros and Cons list to help you decide if this is the system for you: PROS: Convenience- the kit does include nearly everything you need. Added Goodies- the kit included things like gloves, fly traps, plant ties, snips, etc. I really struggled to find a second pro for this thing. CONS: I joked when building it the first time that the designer should use this grow tent as an example of why they should be allowed a refund on their college degree. A little attention to detail would have gone a long way. They do a good job of keeping the kit price down, but at the cost of innovation. Shoddy Development- on one hand, you get cool features like an integrated fan in the light. Then you get the air filter motor that makes a loud whistle noise when on the second setting. The motor is noisy on any setting but on setting two it’s unbearable. Advertised Photos Are Lies- They depict a well managed product practically free of wires and cables and let me tell you, that’s a big lie. In the best of circumstances you’ll still be looking at a power cable, a type C cable, an Ethernet cable, and an AUX style cable. A little more development could have reduced the number of cables used. Since pretty much everything connects to the light, there’s no real way to hide them while still having easier access. Broken Humidity Sensor- The thing is a piece of junk and does not read accurately at all. Light and Exhaust Fan- these two items take up SO MUCH SPACE. I’m talking a minimum of nearly two feet, so keep that in mind for whatever you are growing. I rigged mine a different way to save room until I get I bigger tent. Again, Poor Attention to Detail- The way they expect certain things to be hooked up or held together. For example, there should be zero reason to screw any holes into the tent or cut pieces of wood, but regardless that is suggested twice. I decided to ignore that advice. If you don’t screw mount the exhaust motor into a piece of wood, your other option is hang it with included straps.. straps that rest on the very edge of the intake and output of the motor, making it easy to fall if you decide not to use the filter or exhaust tube for awhile. There’s no dedicated special loop that secures it. It’s just hopes and dreams holding it there. Building on this, the light dangles from two metal cables which dangle from two adjustable rope cables adding to the messy look of the design. Light Leaks- Yes, light leaks are happening around the zippers. It’s not a whole lot but enough to notice. They do include some fancy tape though. For the price though.. it shouldn’t leak. If you made it this far, thanks for reading. It’s not horrible for beginners, but for the price, the design and development is lacking.
