Here's the deal on this item. Everything is great except one aspect. If the cord clamp part of the unit would be a little longer, getting the wires inserted would be a lot easier. You can get the job done, but it requires a perfect fitting of the wires otherwise you would strip the cord covering back too far and not catch it with the clamp. It's a bit hard to explain it here, but when you get the opportunity to put one on, you'll understand. My son is an industrial electrician and he tells me they all fall short with that trait. So, not sure you can buy a different kind to solve this annoyance.
