Well worth it for a truly low-carb diet
This is a very good product, it's reflected in the abundance of 5 star ratings and the best seller rating on Amazon. You don't get those from being terrible. The lower ratings are mostly people who haven't read the nutritional info or ingredients or serving size (in grams) before ordering. A slice of SoLo is 20g compared to a slice of regular, commercially-made bread which can be around 28g. For the "yucky" or "chewy" ratings, saliva breaks down starches in the mouth so regular bread has a "melty" quality and turns pasty in the mouth. This bread is the closest to that quality I've come across in low-carb bread. If you are looking for bread you don't have to chew, you wont find it in any low-carb bread (yet). They all have a "fried egg white" mouthfeel because of the necessary ingredients to keep it low-carb. To what degree depends on the brand. I think that it's mitigated with SoLo due to the wheat flour in it (they don't claim to be gluten-free).There seems to be a slight problem with molding in some of the comments, but I did not experience it. I live in the North and it was cold at the time of delivery. It freezes and thaws well so, for best results, freeze the loaves upon receiving them and thaw small portions as you eat. Freezing this bread did not reduce the softness or quality. If you are truly low-carb, it'll take awhile to eat three loaves and you don't want to leave them out for that amount of time.I tasted the "Country White." The taste of this bread is on point with artisan wheat breads and there's no aftertaste associated with other low-carb breads. Some low-carb bread can "take over" a sandwich and overshadow the ingredients inside. I have to admit that the country white did not taste like regular white bread but more like a whole grain wheat, which I like. It seems like more of a marketing thing than a quality thing.I did not toast this bread but I did pan-grill it with salted butter, like you'd do with a grilled cheese. It actually soaked up the butter better than regular bread and got slightly crispy.I felt no adverse affects of digesting this product. It's not cheap, but nothing low-carb and good is right now. It's a little odd that you have to buy three loaves at a time, but that might be a production thing to keep costs down. Luckily, I like this bread, I'll eat all three loaves, and I'll order it again.

Great Bread. I love it.
If you are on Keto or any low carb meal plan and miss the taste of fresh bread or sandwiches then this bread is the answer.I’ve tried a great many bread recipes while on Keto and while some haven’t been too bad they just don’t taste like the bread I remember. And while most of the time not having bread isn’t a huge deal for me I will admit sometimes I miss being able just to make myself a quick sandwich for a meal. This bread gave me that simple pleasure back. The loaves aren’t as big as you buy in the stores and therefore the slices are a bit smaller. It has a texture like that of an Italian type bread. A little firmer than regular white bread, but not at all hard or crusty. It tastes absolutely amazing and arrives fresh to your door. I had read in a few reviews that others had issues of mold if left out so I opened one loaf to use and froze the other two. The one I’ve just taken out of the freezer looks perfect. It seems to have thawed and held up well after freezing. This bread is a little on the pricy side but for me I think it’s been worth it to enjoy a few of the things I miss. I would highly recommend this to others and I will be purchasing again. Possibly trying their other flavors. Delicious.

Great for keto diets!
To start off, it is very expensive for what it is, bread. $9 per loaf plus shipping. However, if you are doing keto or extreme low carb, the bread may be the rescue that keeps you on your diet. My first avocado toast with this bread after two weeks of strict Keto was absolute heaven! Each piece of bread is only about half the size of a normal piece of bread, so keep that in mind when you're making sandwiches, as you will need to eat more pieces to get the same amount of bread. Also the first three slices at each end of the loaf are a waste, since they're too small to do anything with them. The texture is chewy and a little bit spongy, and tastes like wheat or other healthy bread even though this is supposed to be "white" bread. No weird aftertaste though. Also keep in mind if you are toasting it, it will not get super browned & crunchy like normal toast. If you put it in too long it will start to smoke before it gets evenly browned & crunchy. I followed other reviewers suggestions to put the loaves straight in the freezer to prevent any mold issues. I pull 4-6 slices out of the freezer at a time. I am now on a high protein, low carb diet instead of Keto, so I am not required to be as strict with my carb intake. Should I transition back to keto, this bread will definitely be on my list!

Surprisingly good bread
I started doing low-carb a couple of months ago. One of my favorite things in the world is a turkey sandwich. I tried making my own low-carb/keto bread and it was nothing but egg. Simply was not satisfying. I looked up best low-carb bread and this one had the best reviews by far. I ordered three loaves. It was pretty pricey, but I was willing to give it a shot. I cannot tell you how pleasantly surprised I was with how good this bread is. The slices are small, just over half the size of a regular slice of bread. But that wound up being ok with me. It totally satisfied my turkey sandwich cravings. I would take a small sandwich to work every day for lunch. It was filling and had a great flavor. Not all eggy like home-made low-carb breads. I found that you definitely need to freeze the portions you are not going to get to right away. I had to throw out several slices due to mold. Lesson learned.I ran out of the bread, so I went out and bought a loaf of whole wheat bread that I've had before. I had the lowest carb count I could find to get me through. But I now find regular bread inedible. It tasted much too sweet to me. I have to say, I prefer the SoLo carb bread. I would give it 5 stars, but the price, non-Prime shipment and fact that it does go bad quickly unless you freeze it makes me give this 4 stars.
