How good is the sole? Can they be worn too and from the gym without ripping apart sole?

They are designed to wear in the gym , being canvas and suede uppers and a flat rubber sole they aren't really suitable for wet weather etc

Can these be used for running as well as weight lifting

NO! these are not designed to run in, they are flat soled ideal for deadlifting and squats but have no cushioning for any sort of running / walking

I'm a size 7 shoe in the uk and a female. when it says "7 uk men / 6.5 uk women" can someone explain this, how are there diff sizes for men and women?

Hi in UK a mans 6 is a woman 6.5, same shoe. Just as numerically UK mens and womens sizes are different in USA

Is the m9uk too different to a normal uk9?

It is the same size ... a UK male size 9

The supplier only has certain sizes in certain colours, i wish they could give you more choices.

Love these boots ! Feel comfortable and safe as i have got these to train in the gym. Really recommended for squats and leg training. Flat soul so balance is good.Also very stylish and one of thd best for anyone who wants to look good in the gym. These are no good for out the gym as the soul is not for walking like a normal boot as its thin,but for in the gym they are used brilliantly.I just wish the supplier would have more colors available in more sizes as i want to buy more ! Thats my only fault !

Did a U.S. to U.K. Conversion using a site from google but didn't realise that the women's sizes was listed first lol. So mine fit a little snug but overall an awesome product and came fast in the mail. I'd recommend to anyone looking for powerlifting, mixed martial arts, or just looking for a flat, but lightweight shoe for lifting.

Not as cracked up...

I wanted to love these otomix like they were my babies however I'm pretty disappointed. If I was to be biased I'd be saying these were the best ever and I wish I could. I'm not sure if I got a slightly miss-manufactured batch but my left shoe seems to be more leftward sloping so I feel like I'm at an angle/my foot seems to be walking on the edge of the sole. They're light and comfortable but I just can't enjoy wearing them as much as I had hoped. Hopefully no-one encounters this problem but for me my experience has been somewhat disappointing.
