We got this because our gas fireplace didn’t have a grate and we didn’t want to get a great that they could knock over. We use this to childproof our fireplace, the magnets are strong, so it works well for us! This fits perfectly and looks great! Added benefit that it doesn’t let a draft in!

This fireplace cover has very strong magnets that immediately held up the "blanket" to cover the whole glass front of my fireplace. Even with the flue closed my fireplace had very cold air that escaped into our living area. The cover immediately stopped the flow of cold air and allowed the room to heat up much quicker. It also stayed warm with the cover in place. The cover can be easily removed and folds up to a very manageable item that can be stored anywhere. Just make sure you measure your fireplace from side to side correctly. Also make sure you have a magnetic surface that the cover can adhere to.

It's been a life-saver for our furnace heat! Our fireplace surround is made of Bedford Stone, so we knew it wouldn't be able to completely seal up the firebox...but it works very well. The magnets are strong & it fits our existing metal screen very well. Only downside: the thing comes FOLDED. Which means, wherever there's a fold-seam, it won't adhere flush to the metal. I wish they would craft these, ROLL THEM, and mail them in a tube. The product could accomplish much more of what it is designed to do, if so.

I could feel hot/cold air coming from our firer place, it has a terrible draft. I was also concerned about the rock at the bottom because of our toddler. This is perfect for what we needed. The magnetics on this are impressively strong and it is well made.

Yikes my flue is broke and loosing heat out of my house so I bought this to help support my glass doors. Strong magnetic cover does a really good job keeping leaky drafts out and heat in!! Very happy with results and my heating bill was lower!!

The product was very light and very thin as if it were something you would wear to a waterpark not very sturdy or something to use on a daily basis

Product fits well and works as intendedBe careful when ordering as there is a mix up in the size selections. When you click on a size, it changes the size in the item description and they are not the same! What will ship is the size in the item description so make sure you are ordering the right size. I had to order twice and return one.
