There are a lot of LED desk lamps available, but most of them seem to get the details wrong or are a pain to use in one way or another. They pretty much got everything right with this. The four button control on the cord is nicely done. One button is always illuminated, it's the on-off power switch. You can always see the power button clearly and turn the lamp on easily even in the dark. The two buttons at each end are marked plus and minus and make the light brighter or dimmer. The remaining button steps through different color temperatures. All the modes are sticky, meaning the next time you turn the lamp on they are all where they were when you turned it off. The range of brightness is excellent, from quite bright for close work to dim enough to serve as night light in a darkened room. The range of steps on the dimming control makes sense and lets you go from bright to dim in a reasonable number of steps. It's easy to use the weighted base if you want a normal desk lamp arrangement. However, you can also ditch the base and mount the lamp in a hole in the tabletop, or some kind of clamp or something, the point being you have lots of mounting options. And, the whole thing looks nice to boot. Highly recommended.

I got this because my, now former, desk light was dying. I needed something that was tall enough to go over my monitor but did not take up a lot of space on my desk. There is a solid, lower portion for the light and a goose-neck for the upper half of the light making it easy to adjust the position. Even better you can plug it into an outlet or into a USB Type A port. It has several color options plus you can dim the light by holding down the button (lol, don't remember which one but it's easy to figure out). All in all an excellent value.

A great functional lamp. I needed a good bright lamp with an adjustable goose neck for crafting and the ones being pulled up on searches were all the clamp version. My desk doesn’t have a lip, and much too thick to put a clamp style on it. This one was the color I wanted, and was a standard tabletop version. It has different warmths of white, which is great if I need to change it depending on my vision needs. I wish the base was heavier, because when I adjust the goose neck, I end up moving the entire thing. Also, when dimming the brightness, the lower settings cause the light to strobe. So it’s best to keep it medium to high to keep it steady. Other than that, it works well.

Best tasklight I've owned. My daughter had to buy one when she saw mine. It has different color temps and brightness levels. Low profile and space saving.
