The pink pens with the pink ink are definitely a festive, fun touch. Especially when I'm writing in my pink covered journal. I should mention that the pens come in other colors besides pink, but I definitely wanted the pink pens.I think they are good value and I really like them, but the ink doesn't seem to flow as easily as it does with some of my other pens. You also have to let the gel ink dry a tiny bit on the paper or writing surface or else it may smudge.Even still, I would probably purchase these pens again, especially for journaling, drawing or with any creative work. They are easy to hold and comfortable in my hands. They also appear to be well-made.While I definitely like using the Writon Retractable Gel Pens for creative projects such as journaling, I don't feel they are as well suited for hardier writing projects. The clicker works well, the pens arrived in perfect order and are a good value.I think these pens would be great for all creative projects and especially for someone who adores pink gel pens. I just don't think it's the best pen for lots of heavy duty cursive writing on non-creative projects. Of course that's just my opinion. I do a lot of daily writing on lined notepads.This one is fun and fabulous, but not for every writing need. Should you buy it? Yes. Just understand how it is best utilized. Everyone needs to find their best pen.

I work in a retail pharmacy setting and write a lot, notes, script changes, doctors' orders, etc. I prefer Pilot G-2 pens over other brands because they write smooth and last quite a while. I decided to give these a go and I'm actually impressed by them. They are comfortable to hold, the large clicker makes it easy to deploy the tip, ink lays down evenly with no skipping, non-smearing.They aren't quite as smooth of gliding across the paper as the G-2 but they still lay down the ink well and without it being too much. One complaint I have with the G-2 is smearing. The WRITON isn't as thick or bold and dries extremely quick. In my writing test I'd draw a quick line and immediately rub my finger across. The WRITON had pretty much zero smearing while the G-2 smeared every time.I haven't had the pens long enough to get an idea of duration for how long a single pen may last compared to my experience with the G-2s. However, these pens are much cheaper and even if they weren't quite as long lasting, they're still a great value. There's a lot to like about them and I'll consider buying them in the future.

My wife seems to be constantly searching for pens around the house. I had gotten her a large supply with the removable caps which she did not like and I suspect she accidently lost them. This time I got the Writon retractable gel pens and she loves them.These are really high quality pens with a very low price. The come 12 to a pack and cost $12 or $1 each. These are fine point, .7 mm and write very smoothly. There is a plastic cap on the point which must be removed before using the ten. The ink flows easily and dries quickly.The retractable mechanism works great. She much prefers the retractable pen because she is always losing the top. These do not run or smear.There is a comfortable rubber grip which makes holding he pen easy if you are writing for extended periods of time.The ink tube is visible so you can see when the ink is running out.All in all, a great writing instrument and a very good price.

The pens function very smoothly. The ink writes smoothly without skipping, but it does take a few seconds to dry without smearing. The color is very bright and there is adequate cushioning on the pen. Not the best pens I have ever used but are good for work or school. Overall average pens. Also pen color is ink color.

As an author and a teacher, I like using red pens for editing and revising, so I go through them a lot. This pack is about $1 per pen, which is a little on the high end. The grip area is cushioned, making it more comfortable to hold. The ink dries quickly, which is nice. I don't have to worry about smudges. So, all in all, I'm happy with them. :-)

They work fine, but are a little thicker than I'd like.

These pens are great and for a great price! They don’t skip at all when you write and the ink is very bold/crisp. The ink also doesn’t bleed when writing and dries really fast. Definitely recommend these pens!
