Life saver

This car charger arrives in a small cardboard box containing the charger and a small instruction sheet. My first impressions where that it is much smaller than my current charger and feels much better put together. The plastic is solid and there are sections that fell like metal. In the pictures I have added you can see its size in comparison with my old charger and I have been very pleased with the more compact nature of it as it is less intrusive the car.Looks wise I feel that it looks very smart and the blue led compliments it well. The orange quick charge port is easy to find and all of the ports worked as I would expect. Charging has been consistent with other chargers I have use and if you have the correct devices the quick charge 3 port will work great for you. The addition of the USB C port will no doubt be handy in the future and I am please to have the option to use it with out needing yet another adaptor.Over all I have very happy to recommend this, I was sent it at a reduced cost as a review sample, but genuinely feel that it is a worthwhile product and much better than some of the much cheaper offerings.

Sadly, this barely keeps my QC 3.0 compatible phone charged. If Sat-Nav is in use and the screen is bright the battery charge just about treads water. Shame, good on paper.

This was given to me as a discount in an exchange for an honest review. This item is an excellent add on to a car accessories. The builf quality is amazing. Accepts, usb type c, fast charge port and a normal charge port. Great and reliable item

I've tested this charger and I'm not getting more than 1.2 amps from the usb C to my pixel XL with no other devices plugged in.When I plug in my dash camera the amps going to the pixel XL drop to 0.8!!!If this is meant to push out 3amps AND have a wattage as claimed then I should be able to charge the pixel XL at 3amps and easily have enough power left to drive the dash cam and potentially another device (like a tablet)....Either I have a faulty one or these are not what they claim to be.

Does not work, tried in multiple sockets and even a brand new socket. too much hassle to return.

Da mein Ladestecker im Auto den geist aufgegeben hat brauchte ich etwas Neues, möglichst mit Schnelladefunktion für mein S 8+ und einer Buchse mit mindestens 2.1A besser 2,4A fürs Tablet und das iPhone meiner Frau.Die Wahl fiel auf das HOVAMP, dass die Anforderungen erfüllt und mit 9€ auch im preislichen Rahmen liegt. Der Ladestecker kommt in einer schlichten Pappschachtel zusammen mit einer kleinen Bedienungsanleitung in Deutsch und Englisch.Ausgepackt, im Wagen in die Zigarettenanzündersteckdose gesteckt, Handy an die USB-A Buchse mit dem orangenen Innenleben angeschlossen und es sagt: "Schnellladen". Anforderungen erfüllt. Zusätzlich zu den beiden USB-A Buchsen ist noch eine USB-C Buchse da, die auch bis zu 3A liefern soll. Da ich noch kein Kabel mit 2 USB-C Steckern konnte ich diese noch nicht ausprobieren.Von mir 5 Sterne.

Sehr schönes Ladegerät, was nicht nur gut aussieht sondern auch tut was es soll. Quickcharge funktioniert tadellos kann bisher nicht meckern und stellt alle Anschlüsse zur Verfügung, die man braucht.

Das Ladegerät hatte ich bereits von einem anderen Hersteller erworben. Da er mir bereits gute Dienste geleistet hatte, aber nicht mehr lieferbar war, entschied ich mich für diesen, da er technisch identisch war.Die Ladeleistung geht hier voll in Ordnung. Im Urlaub wurden zwei GPads (Android Tablets mit je bis zu 1,5A über USB-A) und ein Nexus 5X (mit bis zu 2,5A über USB-C) parallel geladen.Die beworbene Gesamtleistung von 8.4A (!) konnte ich jedoch nicht abrufen. Evtl. lag das aber auch an den angeschlossenen Geräten. Jedenfalls hielt die Leistung über mehrere Stunden und konnte die Geräte nicht nur aufladen, sondern auch bei 100% geladenen Status halten (trotz intensiver Display-Nutzung).Lediglich einen Stern Abzug muss ich vergeben, da das erste Gerät vollkommen defekt war. Das Ersatzgerät wurde zwar prompt zugestellt (ca. 3 Tage nach der Reklamation), aber das hätte mit einer Qualitätskontrolle, die scheinbar nicht durchgeführt wurde, vermieden hätte können.Ansonsten klare Empfehlung!PS: Quickcharge konnte nicht aufgrund keiner vorhandenen kompatiblen Geräte getestet werden.
