Fantastic live DVD from the heaviest band on Earth. Filmed at the popular German open-air festival of the same name, Live: With Full Force was captured on Crowbar's world tour supporting their 2005 release, Lifesblood for the Downtrodden. The live performance DVD further includes candid backstage footage plus the band's second (and previously unavailable) promotional video for the album track 'Slave No More'.

This is the only dvd of CROWBAR i know of and its done by the band so its done with great care. The sound is loud and the picture is great. Infact i find it the LOUDEST dvd i,ve ever brought and i,ve got dvds by METALLICA who have a much bigger as in millions of dollars budget. This dvd cost me about £5 which is also gr8. BUY!!!

Good - but not all that we wanted.
I'll assume straight away that as you are looking at this item you are already a Crowbar fan. And as Crowbar fans I'll assume most of you have seem Kirk and co. live at some point in some dark and dingy club or other. And if you have then you know how powerful and immense they are in such a setting.Well what we have here is a festival show from Germany, which has three negative points:1. It's only a short set2. The setlist doesn't take any risks3. A big outdoor stage in the blazing sunshine is not Crowbar's natural habitat.Having said that the performances are uniformally excellent and the sound quality is top notch.Mixed in amongst the show are backstage clips and interviews with Kirk, Jimmy Bower, and the rest of the current line-up. It's typical 'rockband-on-tour' stuff and won't be anything new to anyone who has seen similar DVDs in the past. You also get the handful of promo videos that the band have done over the years - saves you hunting youtube for them.So in summary what you get here is good - and certainly a better investment than the 'Live +1 EP' - but a 90 minute set in a small club would have been soooo much more worthwhile and more representative of this awesome and oft-overlooked band.
