Bought this to protect me from the sun. I have used it several times including while on the beach. It is a little small in circumference for the price, but the print is beautiful. It is functional in warm dry weather. It opens easily. So far its been durable. Weight wise it's easy to carry around.

Absolutely love the Chinese umbrellas I purchased! I’ve had many before in the past and I do need many and I bought several more for their beautiful designs and colors. I live in Florida and I use these practically every day I go walking or to a function outside. Better than a hat, they cover half your body from the sun! I’ve always had positive raves about these from people.

I love this one person parasol. I bought another for a walking companion. It’s lightweight but sturdy if treated carefully. I’ve enjoyed walks in the Florida sun and get many compliments. I’m looking forward to floating down the Chattahoochee river in a canoe with my granddaughters. I love beautiful, unusual but very practical things. It would be good for outdoor weddings, baby showers or feminine decor.

I was worried this would appear very yellow in person. While it does tend toward yellow, it can pass as tan or cream when surrounded by the right cool colors or when it’s in natural light. I have no complaints about how it carries, its appearance or quality, or the way it protects from the sun. However, if you’re looking for a seamless open and close process, look elsewhere. You have to manually click each rib into place to create the umbrella’s shape, and manually release each rib when you collapse the umbrella.

I bought this for a photo shoot for my wedding design business. All of the photos and videos we got with it turned out so cute! Definitely worth your money for what you get, very durable and easy to use.

I get a lot of compliments, well made and just the right size

This item is false advertised. The fabric is a rough, plastic violet with the image printed on top. I've shown actual blue and white on a tissue box for comparison in my photo. This severely tints the whole thing violet, including the whites, and no longer matches my planned outfit or the images. The description says it's "silk cloth", but it's more like thick, outdoor grade vinyl.

Beautiful, "vintage," lace parasol! I took it with me to Gatsby Summer Afternoon in San Jose as a prop that complimented my dress and gloves. The size is great. It's easy to open and close, light weight, and I love the pretty blue and off-white floral sleeve it came with for storing it. I got a great picture of my husband holding it :-) Highly recommend!
