So, not only is it a spoon or spatula rest, but any cooking utensil really.We LOVE it!!! We were looking for something to use to put the cooking utensils (spatulas, spoon stirrers etc.) because we didn't want them on our counter getting that dirty and also not wanting to try and balance it on the pan.So, I bought this and it is fabulous. We can set several items on it at a time, it is SUPER easy to clean, just wash with soapy sponge and any food stuffs comes right off of it!It is a light to medium gray, silicone like material. It has 4 to 5 slots for utensils, rather large flat part to rest the spoons on (fits most kitchen utensils I believe like pasta spoon or spatulas or ladles...)Thank you so much for a useful and easy to clean item! I'm thinking of getting more so we can use them forever in each of my family member's kitchens.

This spoon rest is easy to clean and holds many spoons. Initially I wanted a cutesy, painted spoon rest but I'm glad I opted for this multi-spoon rest instead. I often cook with many utensils and I feel I get more use with this.

Catches the inevitable drips/puddle, doesn't move/slide around on counter during use and holds multiple utensil easily. A little bigger than it needs to be for most uses.I wish they made a "2-slot" version for apartment dwellers with limited counter space - it'd make a great gift. Dishwasher safe (top-rack) for those messy/greasy dishes and you're back in business.

This is the best design. easy to clean and hold 4 untensils. Great on a flat top stove. I bought 2 for my self and several as Christmas gifts for the women in my family. I am a gadget freak, big and small, I love gadgets, I love them all....this makes the list.

I love the utensil rest because it holds any cooking utensil. It keeps all your utensils together while cooking so you are not hunting for that spoon you set down a minute ago and need to stir a pot now. It helps keep the area cleaner so clean u p is easier. The utensil rest itself is easy to clean.

It's alot smaller then I thought. But it's easily cleans and holds what I need it to. But if utensils are big it won't catch any of the food drips (to short on tray spot)

This is really a great idea. It does the work, it keeps all utensils in place and prevents it from spilling food on the counter or stove top. It's easy to clean and machine washable.

Great little spoon rest. I like that I can put multiple spoons on it. It keeps my counter top clean and it's easy to clean.
