This cologne is nice and subtle. Smells exactly like their St. James shaving cream.

Love this old school cologne

I emailed Taylor of Bond St. about the St James and if it came in an Aftershave. The company replied that the St James can be used as both the cologne and aftershave? The description on their webpage also states this statement. So, I purchased the bottle with hopes it would be a great warm weather aftershave... it's not. i'm sorry, but you have to squirt a lot of the product in your hand to even start to cover your face. The smell then becomes overwhelming, not to mention it does nothing to sooth a freshly shaved face. Plus, the overwhelming smell gave my a headache. The fragrance isn't bad, but I was looking for some to challenge my Proraso green and it did not measure up. The bottle looks nice. I'll probably be returning it.

If you're looking for something light during warm weather months that resembles neither washed laundry or barbershop, this might be the choice. Very light, slightly sweet and elegant and with a scent that reminds my of nothing I've bought before--and I buy quite a bit--- # 74 is worth a try. Some may remember a cologne from France Zizanie--- this is a lighter and slightly drier version .

Good but expensive

I really like this fragrance. I agree that it is a little pricey, but it is good nonetheless. To me, there is a hint of an XS cologne that was out in the 90's, one that I have been searching for for a long time. So far, this is the closest I have found.

Esta es una fragancia con tonos cítricos que la primer contacto presenta un fuerte ahora pero de buen gusto, pasado unos minutos el aroma disminuye y queda con un nivel apropiado ni tan fuer ni tan tenue, perfectamente presectible, tiene una duración de alrededor de 8 horas.

Me gustó mucho el aroma, aunque no dura mucho, es especial para aquellos que no aguantan los aromas fuertes. Lo volvería a comprar
