Great to allow re-use of your older cables provided they use 14AWG wires
Seems to work well, I had previously used the older style for a different power supply but now the power supply changed to the newer style so this kept me from having to make another cable. NOTE that power cable currently uses 14AWG so it's rated 15A. If you use a lower diameter wire (i.e., 16AWG) and draw too much power, you may cause overheating and fire.

Perfect extension
This is a perfect extension for a computer or monitor cable to be able to extend it to use 2 together. Cable fits together nicely in the converter without fear of slipping out. Works great.
