I would give this 3 stars but be-grugingly i give it a 2 star, reason is that i have to charge it everyday, it has a wimpy 600mAh battery inside to power 20 LEDs......it's not enough, needs bigger battery, also i think it needs a massive amount of natural light for it not to come on during the day. But hey, its cheap and from China...what do you expect!

Did the job - illuminates under-stairs cupboard every time door opened. Only had it a month, but very satisfied.

I ordered this LED strip of lights for my wardrobe. I did a little bit of research and searched around and found this product and thought it might just perform the job. The job was to illuminate the small wardrobe room I have.I order the LED magnetic stick on light strip from Amazon and received it fairly quickly, i think it took about 3 days to arrive.It was well packaged with sufficient packaging. It arrived in a small box with the contents being the LED light, a USB to Mini USB charging cable, and short instruction leaflet.The LED strip is exactly as described - about 35cm long and 2cm wide, silver casing and a plastic body with a strip of 20 LED bulbs.The first thing I did was plug the USB cable into a USB power supply I already had. I have tried other charging methods such as using the USB port on a desktop computer, a laptop computer, a USB port on my TV - they all charge the LED strip fine. It charged within a couple of hours.I installed the LED strip as per the instructions pointing the infrared sensor downwards so that it would detect movement once I opened the wardrobe door. I installed it above the doorway pointing inwards to the room directing the light at the clothes in the wardrobe. once I had decided where to place the unit I removed the magnetic strip and peeled back the backing strip of paper to reveal the sticky pad. Then i fixed this in place above the door frame. I then placed the LED strip on to the magnetic strip and it easily attached and held itself on the magnetic strip. It felt secure and I tapped the in-place LED strip gently a couple of times and it didn't move or drop.I use the wardrobe at least twice a day so the LED lights are getting used regulary. In the morning they turn on because it is usually dark enough in the morning when I get ready for work so the light turns on then. But when I come home sometimes there is enough light already getting to the wardrobe that the LED light does not illuminate. This is exactly how it is meant to work, which is great. It only turns on when it detects low light and therefore enables itself. The light that comes off the LEDs are nto startling bright, it is enough to see what I am doing in a small walk in wardrobe. So far I have got 6 weeks out of the first charge. I then simply went to work leaving the LED light charging, then came home from work and it was ready so placed it back in to the magnetic holding strip.I purchased this LED light at a slightly discounted price in exchange for an honest review.

The Kitclan Rechargeable 20-LED Stick-on light arrived in a white box, the box included the light, Micro USB charging cable and instruction manuals.This light is very easy to set-up, it is fixed to the wall using a stick-on magnetic strip, you can remove the lamp from the strip to charge. It is turned on and off using a small switch at one end of the light. The light is charged using a micro USB cable (provided) which you can plug in to your computer or phone charger.The light itself is very well made and provides a warm light, I have located this on a stairway using the motion detection to activate at night for safety. I have positioned the light so that it turns on when it detects someone at the top of the stairs to light their way and this works very well. With it being a warn light it is perfect to light the stairs but not too bright as to wake anyone else. I would suggest testing the light by holding it in the area you want to cover prior to fixing the magnetic strip to the wall, after sticking the strip to the wall I wouldn’t like the idea of removing it to re-position.I am impressed with this light and I would recommend it to anyone.I received this product free or at a discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, this by no means affected content of the review I posted which I hope you found useful and informative. I'm a big fan of these versatile strip lights! The base can be fixed in your chosen position in seconds, due to the fast-grab adhesive, and the strip light itself then slots securely into position using a magnetic strip.I now have 3 rechargeable LED strip lights from different sellers, positioned around my cottage for best effect, and the Kitclan version is as good as the others. One difference is that the Kitclan I received gives a softer glow than my other bright-light ones. I'm very pleased with this, as one of my locations definitely works better with a gentler, but no less powerful light.The motion sensor on this lamp is very responsive, and it's useful to be able to switch the lamp off when the extra light isn't required.I'm obliged to declare that I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, which I've given here. I genuinely love this strip light, and my quirky cottage would be a gloomier place without it!
