Great for small scale work and electronics work
Great for heat-shrink and detailed electronics work; not for burning off paint. Changeable tips help to control direction of hot air where needed.

Great for heat shrink
I had one at work that wore out. Making a motor bearing noise. It was tossed into the garbage so I took it home. Used it for another 15+ years. It finally died. As far as I am concerned,it is the best gun for heat shrinking electrical connectors and tube. The gun does not heat a wide area like the paint stripper style does. It heats fast and the air flow is gentile. Great tool at a good price. 54 years as a electrical tech.

They work and last.
Like. Used these at work. They work as designed and hold up to heavy use. And they are quiet. Good Purchase.

The best heat gun for electronics work
I have one of these at work and it's amazing so I bought one for my personal use. Works very fast, and is perfect for solder sleeves.

Very expensive, but you do get what you pay for.
I bought this to replace my old blue Ungar 6966C heat gun (of which this is an exact copy - even the same model # - only the color and label are different). I had that Unger since the 1970s and it always performed brilliantly. Unfortunately, I dropped it onto a concrete floor and the internal ceramic insulator shattered. I was amazed to find that Weller offers the exact same unit and purchased it immediately. Then I realized it was almost $200. I'm retired now and don't have the need for something of this exceptional quality, especially at that price. It saddens me, but that's the reality of things when you're on a fixed income. If you are a professional that wants a tool that will last for decades, then it's well worth the money. I don't expect to be around for decades at this point, lol so I went with something a little cheaper.

Works great
I bought this to use for shrink tube. It does the job without overheating the tubing or any surrounding wires/lines.

Great for heatshrink tubing
This is an easy to use, well made heat gun. I use it for quickly and easily shrinking heatshrink tubing.

Entrega rápida, en buen estado, lo único malo es que como es producto de importación no me hicieron factura.

No bells and whistles. Just works. Device is so simple that I can imagine fixing it myself if it ever comes to it. It even comes with internal schematics and electrical diagrams. Brilliant!
