The case is truly water proof however is bulky and not easy to handle. The hand strap is designed for big hands. It would be nice to add a neck rope to it as option to hang it on the neck.

Took this to Florida for our family holiday. Great to use & kept my iPhone nice & safe & most importantly DRY!I was very nervous to be honest as everyone knows iPhones & water don't mix at all. The only way I had some confidence is that my iPhone is now water resistant so can handle some water. I shouldn't have worried as so long as you follow the instructions then your phone will be fine.Got some great video & pictures from the pool & on the water rides. Remember though the sound will be muffled as contained inside the pouch.Great addition for your holidays and easy to just strap on & have when that picture is needed!

I love messing about in boats of one sort or another as well as cycling, hiking, running and other outdoor pursuits. I am also on-call for my work, carrying an iPhone 6 about wherever and in all weathers. This is just what I needed and I am seriously impressed that it actually delivers on the waterproofing side.I'm unlikely to take it swimming intentionally but IPX8 should allow the odd tumble overboard without killing my phone. I tested water ingress at low depth by using the supplied cardboard rectangle and leaving it submerged in a sink for 12 hours. Nothing - not a drop - got into the phone compartment. It really works.I found that I can operate my iPhone through the case, even with a glass screen protector in place, and combined with some sports water resistant Bluetooth headphones I can take and receive calls on the go without worrying about water ingress to the phone.Here are some of the pros and cons+ Comfortable with a layer of foam padding between you and the phone+ Stable thanks to the wide strap and velcro-style closure+ Protective to the corners of your phone (though less to the face of it)+ Waterproof to my satisfaction (and most probably to the full IPX8 as claimed though I've not taken it underwater to any depth)+ Well made with quality welding to the seams and rugged plastic components- One size fits all (in class) so some movement for the iPhone 6- I'm no gym bunny but I'm getting close to the limit of bicep size that fits in here. If you have big arms or want to wear this over thick clothing, wetsuit or whatever it might be a struggle.- The double-fold back closure method is a bit fiddly. I know it's what you need to get a proper watertight seal but beware that you'll not want to be taking the phone in and out of this too often.In summary, then, a really excellent case for the active user who wants to take a smartphone out in all weathers and a lot cheaper than some of the full immersion iPhone 6 cases on the market.
