Entrance door to our block of flats and our front door are very heavy and causing problems getting in and out with a wheelchair - used these with the sticky pads and several weeks later still holding these doors open - bought more and using them for internal doors - so far no need for the screws supplied.

Nice quality and strong magnet, but after a couple of days they either have come off the wall or the door. Pads not sticky enough compared to magnet strength. Resorted to super glue which is holding for now.

Had two of these on a stable door work well and strong magnet hold. Recommended and really easy install. Look good as well.

A good product. Let's be clear. These work well. Providing. You do not just use the sticky pads. Screw the two parts into the door and wall respectively and they do exactly what it says on the tin. If you choose not to screw them in you, they will be cool for a while and you will wonder what this review was about, and then within a week to ten days you will suddenly hear a slamming door, and remember...screw them to the wall and door from the get go and that are an excellent and well priced item

Does what it says on the box…

They do the job perfectly, but if you want to only use the self adhesive strips don't bother. They certainly need the screws, I used longer ones than those supplied, but having said that I am pleased with the look and way they work.
