Who would think a wick trimmer is essential if you burn candles frequently? why not just use scissors or don't trim. This tool is great, design allows trim of wick in deep cylinder ,pillar candles. I burn a candle every day, trimming the wick allows wick to light faster, burn cleaner. This cuts wick well

This arrived scuffed and with noticeable chunks of paint already coming off. The first place to scrape off will likely be where the blades rub against each other, but the handle is missing some paint as well. This was meant to be a gift, but I'll need to find another wick trimmer. I recommend getting an unpainted wick trimmer if you're not OK with the paint chipping off/visible damage.

These are great, they cut the wicks of my candles in one shot! Perfect size for even my large jar candles (22oz). The pattern is to die for and I've already received several compliments!

This product is a really good gift idea. I liked this one cause it was decorative. It has a Matte finished texture to it, I am afraid it will chip off the paint. I feel it might of needed a polished finish to it to hold. We will see how long it last. Very cute and giftable though.

It does the job, and it's pretty, too.
