This product works and has different purpose than descaling. This is not for descaling this is in addition to descaling. I saw lots of negative review because they were using it in place of descaling. My one year old Nespresso virtuoso plus was pouring out weak watery coffee and noticed weak water flow. Despite descaling multiple times and rinsing cycle few times it didn’t change. I was about to send the machine back to espresso for repair. However, as a last ditch effort and after extensive research I asked ChatGPT which suggested I use cleaning capsules. Do decided to try this capsule and it worked like a miracle. After using just one of this capsule and rinsing the machine my coffee tasted just as good as the day I bought the machine. What I learned from AI is that descaling just dissolves limescale mineral buildup in: • the heating element • internal water lines Whereas Cleaning Capsule is like a soap-and-scrub for the brew head and coffee pathway. • It cleans the front end: the nozzle area, the spout, and the surfaces coffee passes through after brewing. • Caffenu capsules contain a foaming detergent that breaks down coffee oils, sticky residue, and flavored coffee build-up. These residues cause: • bitter or burnt flavor • slow or messy and weak flow of coffee • brown gunk around the spout I bought and used this capsule and now my coffee tastes great just like it was when I bought new machine.

Work as advertised. Quick and easy.

This definitely is not something that works with a Nespresso machine. I gave it one star because that's the lowest I could go. If I could give it zero stars I would. Don't waste your money. Get the twin package of the liquid cleaner

These worked pretty good in cleaning my Nespresso verturo machine but did leave some residue after running it through the machine. Had to wipe it down. Might have to run it more than once. Easy to use!

Do not purchase. Does not work in my Vertuo. Update: I wrote a negative review because I was unable to return. The company saw my review and sent me a full refund.

I find cleaning the chamber that holds and spins the pods to be nearly impossible without these. Coffee stains on the clear plastic outer cup/shield are gross and not easily cleaned up. If there is a way to remove it and wash it I couldn't figure it out. I didn't want to pull on it too hard and break the machine. These pods clean that without any serious effort.
