I bought this shampoo for my Shih Tzu. She seems to get obstructed hair follicles all the time. I don't know why. Her Vet said that Shih Tzu's get them because they don't have 'fur', they have more like human 'hair'. I rinse her really well but she still gets them. I thought this shampoo might take care of this issue but it hasn't. I don't blame the shampoo though. This shampoo rinses nice and clean. It doesn't have much of a scent to it, maybe a light scent but the smell doesn't last long. It's an ok shampoo but it didn't help with her clogged hair follicles, which is why I bought it. I gave it 4 stars because it really is a fine shampoo but doesn't have much scent.

my cat came out super soft and fluffy his last bath was with a wall mart cat shampoo and with that product he was licking and scratching the next day. with the farmpet he seems more relaxed and more hair comes out when i brush him, very good product

We adopted a special needs kitty, she was a mess when we got her. took over 3 months to narrow down her skin issues, she has food allergies to most grains, and egg...She also has an autoimmune issue. We tried many thing to try and at least make her comfortable. Someone told me about this product, they had used it on a dog with serious hot spot dermatitis. We were a little leary to bath a cat, have heard horror stories, and the first time was tense, but now Mooshie loves her long soaks...and her skin soft, and wonderful...Great stuff...

I have a spitz mix dog who suffers from seasonal skin allergies. She will scratch and even pull her hair out. I use hot spot spray but wanted something more soothing for her skin. I gave her a bath with this product and the smell was the first thing I noticed (awesome!), her coat was soft and shiny and her skin already looks less red and irritated.

I love this shampoo!! My Shih Tzu looks like he just went to the groomers! His coat is so soft and silky to touch. And brushing him when he was dry was so much easier than it has been with our previous shampoo. The shampoo lathers beautifully and rinses out quickly. Made the whole shampooing easier on both of us! Thanks for making an excellent product!

My cat needed a bath, which then lead to a bath for myself too (he’s not a fan of water, go figure, he’s a cat). But despite being drenched by a screaming cat, the FarmPet oatmeal shampoo left his fur feeling soft and cuddly (once he was all dry). He smelt great, and I know despite the “trauma” of the bath, he felt great afterwards- clean and fresh!

Great product! The scent is wonderful and it is not drying for my Great Dane or Bulldog, who are both very itchy and sensitive anyway. It suds really well, so I don't have to use as much as other shampoos.

This product works great. My dog has itchy skin and after washing him with this product he has not had any itching issue. Thanks Farmpet
