Ease of use
I actually like this more than the original that I bought with the surface pro. The elevated keys makes me feel confident with my blind strokes

Priced along convenience
For the price is a good option, but being Bluetooth (vs integrated into the Surface) has its drawbacks. You have to configure it well so that it does not always show on Tablet mode, and the way to use it as Tablet mode, is to detach and flip the keyboard, as it will not rollover to the back, like a Microsoft keyboard would do. It also does not charge the pen, so you still have to carry your Slim Pen charger with you.But hey, its a third of the price!.

Far from original
3 months update: awful product.Touchpad - 0/10 first time see soo awful touchpad, scroll wokrin in 2 times out of 10, precisison of pointing also very weakKeyboard - spacebar start to make whistle sound after 3 month and u even if u remap keys in local enironment - it will not work in RDP session well. So get ready to used that delete key - is insert key..If u using touchpad often - strongly don't recommend. Scroll and precision awful and often it start to zoom instead of scroll. It's don't locking when u start typing (hello to accidentally cursor position reset). Fn lock is crazy combination with capslock... (read manual, twice) Del button in Fn lock mode is "Ins" button.. surprise surprise. Thanks to powertoys keyboard manager. Also it's look cheap with a backlight cause painting of buttons not so smooth. Comparison to original: Backlight better than original keyboard. Typing experience same or maybe even Rii is better than original (very silent, i using this in "raised" position). Weight - not big difference. Battery still ok after one week of work using (upd: 10 days and red indicator appeared). Stylus holding well (but not charging). Actually maybe if your skin more compatible with this touchpad u will be lucky, cause my another fingers work better

HTPC use
I use this keyboard with my living room PC and it's been great. The problem with these 'lapboards' (Logitech K400 style) is when you grab them off the couch, you often hit keys. This has a large palm rest area to grab on, and grippy rubber a 'handle' on top where the surface pro is supposed to attach.Low lag, better than average trackpad, solid keys, nice texture. All around great for my intended use.

Mouse Skips
The touchscreen skips while I’m typing to a different part of the document, which is annoying! Also, my original keyboard didn’t have to be charged separately from the screen part, but one does.

Love it so far!
I originally bought an official Surface keyboard but it abruptly stopped working after a little over a year. Rather than paying to see if it was that old keyboard or my computer I decided to try a Bluetooth keyboard. After a couple of weeks I can say that I love this keyboard. It is a little heavier than my old keyboard but it is very responsive and is working great! I would definitely recommend.

It's good, but not great
If you want to save money, it will definitely do the job. I found that it works well, but sometimes the track pad gives me issues. If you can get a used OEM one, I'd recommend that instead, but if you are on a budget this works.

Long battery life
I’ve been using this for about a month and I can usually go 4+ days if 8 hour days without charging it. The only downfall is sometimes it “turns off” if not used for a period of time but an easy switch on and off fixes it.
