Brilliant
After reading the other reviews was worried about putting this together. It went together easily and I had no problems at all. It did not need instructions . The finished product is brilliant , very sturdy & good quality . Both my 3 & 1 year old love it . I would highly recommend this .

All good
Great toy. 2year old loves it-wish I'd only for him this for christmas as it's all he's paid with. Husband found it easy or put together and well worth money (got it for 31.00 a few month a go) would of paid more though.

Great toy but description misleading
The actual toy is great and looks like it's well built and will last a long time. The description said it had tracks but it doesn't. It has eight wheels that are held in place with four solid metal rods. The instructions are only in pictorial form and are not the best to follow but I've had previous experience of putting together both Step 2 and little tikes ride-ons it was difficult to work out what went where.Kids love trying scoop up balls from the ball pit and sand from the tray. I just need a suitable ride in dumper truck now!

Falk ride on excavator
I can't comment on its use as it is a Christmas present for my grandson.I was in two minds about purchasing it after seeing the review about badly fitting parts. Although I admit the assembly instructions are poor the parts of the excavator we received fitted perfectly with no assembly problems.I'm sure my grandson will love this toy

I'd recommend it, but not for the retail price.
I bought this off Amazon Warehouse deals for £26 and whilst it was delivered without issue and works fine we've found it has extremely limited play life even with a sand pit!Our biggest issue has been teaching our 3yr old son how to disengage the lock that holds the arm up, it's quite difficult for him to understand the combination of movements required to get it to work.So for the price that I paid I'd recommend it, but not for the retail price no way.

A massive hit with my 3 year old son.
My son got this for his 3rd birthday, it was a huge hit! He loves it and so do all other children that come round to play. It was a great price too with 50% off the original rrp.

Good Once Built
Once this item is built it is a good toy and my 2 year old son loves it.However, it is very difficult to put together. The instructions provided are not clear at all and are one page long. Two of the holes that the axles slide through were not properly cut through which made things difficult to begin with. The axles themselves have small parts that fit on the end and they are very difficult to get on (I'd advise you build this outside on concrete to stand the best chance). Finally, there are no holes for the screws to attach the arm to go into so you have to make them yourself. My biggest annoyance is that this was sent in a box with a massive colour picture on the side showing what's inside meaning my 2 year old son saw exactly what was inside when it was delivered. Hence he now has his birthday present 2 weeks early! As I said; a good product and my son loves it. I'm glad we managed to get the item on special offer as I don't think I'd have been happy to pay full price for it. It's not worth more than £40 in my opinion.
