The cardboard box had a small hole in it, which I didn’t notice until unpacking & found a small hole in one side panel. Not so bad that I wanted to return the whole item, so I emailed the manufacturer in Italy with a photo. They asked for proof of purchase & which panel was damaged. This I supplied but have not received any further response. Just spoiled the overall experience.

It's a great box and does what it's supposed to, keep things dry. But do.not think it's a bench as it will not take your weight, or even that of a small child. Get a good padlock, or closing clip to keep shut in wind and rain.

Bought two of these, planning to use to store new garden furniture cushions. Looked pretty cheap and not very robust, but decided to proceed anyway as I'm fed up of the cushions being stored in the corner of the kitchen. Assembly was fairly straightforward, although you need to be careful not to snap some of the fixings during assembly. However, it wasn't quite big enough for the largest cushions so decided to return them. Thankfully, had not unpacked both as there is no way to disassemble without the plastic snapping. Unfortunately, could therefore only return one of the boxes. The other one will have to find some use for outdoor toys - balls, bats, etc. - although the lid doesn't close properly (box and lid are misaligned on the front corner so tends to let the rain in). Given the price, I expected something more robust and certainly something that wouldn't have a tendency to break bits off during assembly and prove totally impossible to dis-assemble without destroying it. Definitely not value for money - if I had seen assembled in a shop, I may have paid £35 but DEFINITELY NOT £100+. Personally, I would recommend that you look elsewhere and don't waste your money.

Surprising larger than my other boxes and also able to put a pad lock on. Quite sturdy but not as a seat.

Quite expensive for a box but because it’s Rattan you are paying for the name. Disappointed it didn’t come with a lock or something to keep it closed

Considering the price I very surprised how very flimsy this storage box is and it is very over priced for what you get . I doubt whether it will last a season. I have seen other locally of a similar cost lovely for £30. It also is not that waterproof. The only good thing to report that it was easily put together.

Disappointed with construction of the box. Its not very sturdy and quiet flimsy, really don't feel it was worth the money and is actually over priced. The top is also already wearing due to the sun etc and I have only had it about a month.
