They do the job, if you are careful. Screws are very small and fiddley, and the threads are loose. Difficult to know whether screw is tight or whether you are stripping the thread.

These banana plugs are a really nice quality with a nice even gold plating, my Linn K20 cable fits nicely and the screws clamp the cable firmly. Maplins want £1.49 for one banana plug and they are only chrome plated these are a true bargain. Very happy to recommend.

if you knock the speaker cable accidentally the wire comes out of the plug. i know you could say' well don't know the cable'!' but they are just okay in my opinion. i decided not to use them and simply have the bear wire connecting into the the speaker connections- works fine !

These banana plugs are of good quality, they fit well in the slots of my amplifier and were easy enough to attach onto my speaker cable.Highly recommended.
