Live Lagom: Balanced Living, the Swedish Way

The concept of Lagom is very similar to the concept of Hygge and something Americans need a lot of. It was interesting to read the Swedish version of this concept and compare it to what I know of family back in Sweden. The book is easy to read and understand and I recommend it for those interested in this slowing down, simplified way of making life more comfortable.

A lot of this book repeats what I've read elsewhere and/or seems more like general good sense than something specifically Swedish. For those who haven't already considered and read about moderation, this might be a good place to start because there's nothing extreme anywhere in the book.

This is the book that makes you truly happy!

Nothing new, nothing inspiring, just nothing you haven’t read elsewhere written in this book, and it is repeated over and over again. The photos and book production are lovely. Don’t waste your time or money. Marie Tourell Søderberg’s book ‘hygge ’ Danish, but same subject matter, is far superior.

Good read on a Lagom approach to many aspects of life.Would recommend as a good introduction to this philosophy.
