A powerful shoe with lockdown fit. Made with an extra-wide design that allows the foot to spread, these men's lifting/weight-training shoes pair a snug-fitting upper with a wide midfoot strap for extra support. A high-density die-cut wedge midsole keeps you close to the ground.

excellent shoe. helped a lot on my form.
Day one impression is; worth it. Size is true. I got a slightly wide 10 but, wear straight 10's and this is a snug fit but, it's a fit. Now for my day in the gym with them. Leg day. Instantly noticeable stability and a huge improvement over my running shoes that I was ruining. I did lunges w kettles and the improved stability really helped my form. I did deads and it helped a ton to focus on just my form instead of stopping my swaying and dealing with the squish out of my brooks runners. did some other small stuff and it's uncanny how having that solid platform helps on everything. Anyway, some type of lifting shoe is a must have in my book from now on. The color is not my favorite and good luck finding any of the cool color combos but, for the money I think these shoes are a bargain. I also walked for 30 minutes in them and rode the bike 30. comfortable enough. the upper is kinda plasticy but, who cares. I like them.

Great Shoes. These will improve your comfort, form and help you make gains in your squat and dead lift.
I have been doing Squats 3 times a week for the past 12 months in regular Nike Cross training shoes and I was starting to have pain in my ankles, sides of my knees and lower back so I really paid attention to my form. Watching my form in the mirror and in particular my feet I could see that once I hit about 85kg and above my feet were blowing out the side of the cross trainers and the whole shoe seemed to be shifted off the sole. My stance was wobbly through the range of motion and It was just not comfortable.I had been looking at lifting shoes for quite some time but just did not want to spend $200 on a pair of shoes just for the gym. I found these and read the reviews and caught them on sale. I tried them out and I can only say that I wish I had gotten them sooner. They are very comfortable and stylish and once you lace them up and tighten the Velcro strap your feet are very secure in them. They are flexible yet do not give out on the sides like regular sneakers do. The best part is the flat hard sole really gives you great stability. It is slightly inclined so it helps you squat lower when your ankles tend to lift off the ground in regular shoes.I can feel the exercise more in my legs now because I am not working against the shoe and can concentrate on contracting the muscles. A few other reviewers said this and I have to agree, these shoes make you feel anchored to the floor. I use them for squats, deadlifts, overhead press and bent over barbell rows. I was pleasantly surprised how much more comfortable I felt doing the rows in these shoes. They are comfortable enough that you could wear them through your entire workout but I take them off when I am done with the exercises I mentioned because less wear and tear and I hope to have them for a long time. The fit was exactly what I expected. I take a 10M in all other shoes and these were no different. My feet are slightly wider and I have had trouble with Adidas sneakers in the past being too narrow but these fit perfectly both length and width. There is only one issue that I ran into and it was completely my fault. I wanted my wife to try them on just so feel how well they anchored your feet to the floor and she jammed her foot in them and stepped on the back of the shoe without untying the laces properly to pull the shoe over her heel and it squashed the back down behind the ankle which took quite a bit of effort to pull it back up into place. I was worried she had damaged the padding in the back but they are fine. I make sure to untie the laces and loosen the shoe up before I put them on and do not see having any issues going forward. If you are just doing light weights, you might not benefit as much as if you are going heavier. If you are squatting above 100kg, then I would say a powerlift shoe is a must.

Does The Job
Fit is snug but comfortable. The raised heel has very little compression and feels stable. The toe bends and makes it easy to walk in them in between sets. The overall quality of the shoe is very good and I can tell these will last a long time. The single strap does a good job of tightening everything up. So far the only downside I see is that the tread can be somewhat slick depending on the surface you're on. Any moisture under your feet from sweat or any floor wax can be a problem, but you shouldn't be lifting in that kind of environment to begin with. The colors are a little flamboyant but I guess that's what most people like. Single/basic color options wouldn't hurt.I bought these on sale for around $55 but would have payed up to $100. I personally don't see the point in buying a $200 or $300 olympic shoe when they are only marginally more stable than the powerlift. I would suggest this shoe to both beginner and experienced lifters.

Good shoe
So far, I have only worn them one time. This is my first time wearing lifting shoes so I only have running shoes to compare them to when lifting. I felt much more stable and balanced in these shoes verses my running shoes when squatting and lunging. They were comfortable as well. Since my last pair of adidas tennis shoes were a little tight, I got 1/2 size larger when buying these and they fit well. I usually wear a size 9 wide in womens shoes so I got these in an 8.5 since they are mens. They fit and feel good so far, but I haven't worn them enough just yet to give them 5 stars.

Exactly What I Needed
Adidas' Powerlift line of weightlifting shoes has never let me down. This is the second pair I have owned in five years and I have always been very happy with them. The Powerlift shoes provide the necessary support, comfort and protection to maintain proper form during heavy lifting sessions. Prior to owning a proper pair of weightlifting shoes, I used to lift in just a plain old pair of running shoes. One day, a friend at the gym noticed I was having trouble keeping my balance while lifting a heavy weight in the squat rack. He took one look at my feet and said quite matter of factly, "it's the shoes." After deciding to try a pair, I noticed a world of difference. Suddenly I felt much more stable and secure in my lifts and found I was able to increase my weight load faster. And hey, they're not too bad to look at either.

They 'feel' a little cheap... but they fit as expected and do their job... the 'red camo' isn't overly tacky.

warning! get one size larger!
Get one size larger!!!Other then it being a bit snug... which I'm sure will fix itself after break-in period but still tighter than any other shoes I've worn. It's not bad quality or anything like that. It's super comfortable but the size are slightly smaller than the advertised size.Only used it twice so far so if there's anything that I need to bring up, I'll edit this and give an update
