Great worsted weight yarn
I will definitely buy this again. It dyed well. There are few knots in the skeins. The yarn is super soft, and it’s been a breeze to knit with!

Love this yarn
I have just started dying my own yarn. This yarn is great for that. Super soft, takes color well and easy to wind into cakes. I recommend it.

Works up great!
I have been interested in dyeing yarn for awhile now, and I finally got the chance! This yarn has been fun to work with, and I'm glad I've begun.I used acid dyes with this yarn, and have dyed three of the hanks at this point, using a kettle-dye technique to give a semi-solid color. My first attempt was nice, but the second time I dyed two of the hanks and definitely got better results. They are brighter and darker. I plan to attempt some speckle dyeing next. The yarn was easy to work with in the pot, and it dried well. I still need to practice making nice-looking hanks, but these aren't bad either! We (my daughter and I) struggled a little bit to get the hank wound up into a cake, so she ended up hand winding it for me. The yarn was a bit scraggly, which I feel is my inexperience, not a fault of the yarn. She commented on how soft the yarn felt as she wound it, and how that is not something she is used to feeling.I started knitting a scarf (my daughter's request), and it is really lovely to work with. I didn't try crocheting, but it seems like it would crochet up really well too. I'm thrilled with the drape of this scarf, using US 8 needles.I'm very happy with this and absolutely plan to get more!

Feels awesome, perfect to try dying
As this yarn is undyed, it’ll be perfect for dying! I like to get creative with gift giving, so this will be used to try my hand at yarn dying, to gift to the yarn lovers in my life… of course including myself. Even if you don’t want to dye it, it’s a nice color of white, and for merino wool you can’t beat the price! It does feel the same as other hand dyed merino wools I have, so I do believe that’s what it is. I also really appreciate that the bag states the yardage and other information so you don’t have to hunt down the link you purchased from to figure this out.

Unexpected value
AOYANG undyed wool blend yarn is a pleasant surprise. I have some favorite brand name yarns that I really like and generally stick with so that I know what to expect, especially purchasing online. This large package of undyed yarn caught my interest, so I decided to give it a try. The package includes five neatly twisted hanks. On initially opening the plastic package, the yarn had a slightly funky odor but after sitting in open air for a couple of hours, the odor was no longer noticeable. This yarn is very soft and has a decent spring to it. I weighed all five hanks and each one was a little more than 100 grams (total package of 500 grams), with the extra few grams attributable to ties on the yarn to keep the hank intact. The natural shade of this yarn is an attractive pale ivory, so I think it will knit up nicely into a wide variety of possible items. This yarn is listed as a worsted weight, a good medium weight yarn for many applications. Definitely glad I opted to give this yarn a try. It seems to be a good value and I'm looking forward to knitting up something special using this yarn.
