Get a Yamaha mouthpiece and quality reeds, and you have a great cheap sax
There is a saying, you get what you pay for.Thing is, you sometimes have to make due with your budget. Reed instruments are a pretty niche case. This cheap saxophone is just that, Cheap. Just like my cheap clarinet, it's where you spend your time and money that counts. Toss the reeds and mouthpiece that ships with this to the storage for an emergency, investment in a Yamaha 3C mouthpiece and some quality reeds, and handle the instrument with care, and it will reward you for it. The intonnation is great, notes are within an acceptable range of sharp and flat variance, and unless you are a professional doing this for a living, this saxophone will work quite well for even moderate concerts.

Great for beginner
I'm new to woodwinds and wanted something to explore and learn with. This is perfect and I've been able to play it out of the box for several months now. Sounds great, and the reeds it came with do the job. Love it. Thank you!

Good Buy
This was for my oldest daughter in band, works and functions perfectly, she enjoys playing in and out off band. The price is what got me if i ever need to buy another one im buying this one again.

Not the correct Color
The Sax is perfectly functional. Shame it wasn't what I ordered. Nephew was disappointed.

Beautiful saxophone
My daughter had been using my horn from high school and when she got to high school herself we got her this one as a gift. It’s a Great horn for the price! My daughter get compliments all the time when on her new Saxophone. The gold embellishments are very pretty on the bell and body. The sound is nice not sharp or harsh. My only wish is the case to be more sturdy and the mouth piece that is came with to be of better quality too.
