I was pleasantly surprised at the weight and sturdiness of these bird feeders. To get two at this price was a bargain. I really like the rainproof aspect of them. I'm tired of throwing away soggy seeds from the other feeders I have.

These are very well made, and easy to fill, and the birds are enjoying them. We had a prior model that was all plastic and these are nicer with the metal caps. Especially nice to clearly see how much bird seed is left in the feeder.

the lid is easily lifted by the 25 mph wind exposing the seed to the weather. I resolved by bolting several large washers under the lid. Problem solved. Best alternative product I have used is the Wild Birds Unlimited / Droll Yankee feeders, but they are at least 3 times as much. These are a good value once you address the above limitation.

The bird feeders ( I purchased two) are really nice. The clear sleeve lets me know exactly when I need to buy more birdseed. They are easy to fill, as the hanger is nice and long and doesn't snag on the pole as my old bird feeders did. They seem to be very sturdy and blend well with the landscape.

This is a great feeder at a low cost. The birds love it and the squirrels can't get into the bird feed. I love these feeders and have nothing negative to say about them. I bought separately some long hooks to hang them on and they look and work great on the deck in back. All types of small birds feed on them. These feeders don't accommodate the large birds like blue jays, and pigeons that can hog feeders. These feeders are for feeding only small birds.
