All I wanted from this kettle was that it was quiet, it boiled water, and it didn't have any frustrating needless design features or design faults built in.The first disappointment was that it's not quiet. I thought maybe they'd sent me the wrong kettle so I checked, but nowhere in the manufacturer's documentation or website could I find any claim to it being quiet. Presumably 'quiet' was added to the title at the last moment as a sales pitch.Anyway, it's not deafening either, so I'll just add it as another lesson learnt for future purchases.The next disappointment is that it pours horribly due to a badly located mesh filter. However, the filter was easy to remove and that solved the problem. It would be nice if it had a filter and also poured well, but given that I have to choose between the two, I've removed the filter.To open the lid you have to press a button; a needless complexity waiting to fail (“if something can go wrong, eventually it will go wrong …”).On the plus side, the designers have put a lot of effort into making it a very attractive design, especially the way the blue light illuminates the water.In summary, I'm very pleased with the aesthetics, but disappointed with the functionality. But not so disappointed that I'd go to all the hassle of sending it back.

Good looks and good service Water leaks while pouring especially if kettle is half full or more. If you pore fast the water will be all over the place. The actual hole is probably not wide enough , so water raises up and falls through the sides. So now I have put a cloth under so boiling water will not be on kitchen work top. The steam will escape through all the sides of the cap when the water is boiling, not only through the hole but the side also. I think there should have been a rubber washer to stop the steam escaping. So as the steam escapes it will take some more time to switch off. I sent a email to the company mentioning this. They apologised an gave a refund. So I am satisfied with the company, now I can buy another one. I don't think every one will have this issue, might be with the particular one I had . So I think it is worth buying and its have nice looks and cheap price. And you can replace it as it got 2 years warranty

Needed a new kettle after our kettle gave up over a few years.I'm pretty happy with my purchase. There are lots of other kettles out there that look like this one, but not at this price, most prominently the Russel Hobbs ones. However, considering this is half the price, I'm very happy with the quality of it. The whole thing feels well built, looks pleasant and seems durable for lots of use. Ultimately, it's a kettle and there isn't much to say about it!The reason why I haven't given it a 5-star review is that of two reasons. Firstly, this kettle doesn't boil quite as quickly as my older one (which is arguably inferior/a lot cheaper), but it's only by an extra 20 seconds or so, so it's not so bad.Similarly, the filter I noticed wasn't properly attached and so when filling it up it fell out. I'd advise checking it's securely fastened before you using it. But, on the other hand, it's useful that it can be removed as you can clean it after time.Overall, I'm pretty happy, so I'd recommend getting it.

I have been highly impressed with the customer service and the product.The delivery arrived promptly, a day ahead of what delivery date was given which was very pleasing.It was well packaged in both the delivery packaging and the product packaging. It had easy to follow instructions and set up details for those who require them and information on the kettle.It looks even better than in the photos. It is clearly made of good quality materials which were in immaculate condition. It is wonderful aesthetic wise. Just on the side alone it really stands out and looks like it would have cost a lot more. The lighting is very smart and classy. It is a lovely non-gawdy tone of blue which really brightens up the counter looking very sophisticated.It boils quickly even when full to is maximum capacity. Once boiled it really maintains it heat for some time, reducing the need to recoil and the time to reboil should you need to.I have had problems with kettles which when poured, the steam hits your hand, this one is designed in such a way that this does not happen and has a good seal on the lid making it much safer than my previous kettle.Being glass you would anticipate being able to see watermarks or limescale. I have avoided this by using filter water and emptying it completely each night and leave the lid open. By the morning it is back to looking like a brand new appliance.I would highly recommend this to everyone, it is excellent value for money and a five star product. I would not hesitate to purchase from the seller again.

It's a pretty kettle to look at with it being glass although I'm quite surprised how quickly limescale takes hold, pro-i regularly empty the kettle and swill it out and I'm actively using descaler!It's quite a loud boil and not any quicker than any other I've used if anything when full it takes longer.My biggest bug bear that would not make me want to buy it had I known is how slow the pour is 😞 it's a little more than a trickle, if the filter is removed it pours normal but the filter is there for a reason and if you just tilt the kettle a fraction too far water goes everywhere, very frustrating!!!

The goods:This kettle looks really nice and feels very nice to hold. While boiling the blue light, lighting up the water looks fancy. Can hold alot of water. Boils fairly fast. (Compared to my last kettle)The lead is long, but can be wrapped up inside the base.The bad:The spout for pouring water is TINY, so takes ages to water out. Also, the seal around the lid is not completely sealed, so EVERYTIME we use the kettle (frequently on a daily basis) boiling water pours out through the lid leaving a pool of boiling water on the kitchen surface/floor. Really poor design.Going to be buying a new kettle now to replace the replacement..
