Q: Is this as warm as my current shower?

Yes, it can get hot if you up the water heater setting. What I do at home on cold days is to increase the temp setting before I take a shower and lower it after. I do this on very cold days when warm is not enough. In the long run it is cheaper to pay for electricity than pay for water. Water is more important to conserve first than electricity.

As you may already know, a standard showerhead has a flow rate of 2.5 gallons per minute. Even if you take a quick 10-minute shower, you are still using a lot of water. 25 gallons in 10 minutes to be exact. Now, the Nebia Spa Shower operates between 0.7 and 1.3 gallons per minute depending on what settings you prefer to use. This means you will end up using far less water while showering. 7 to 13 gallons to be precise. Even if you are using a highly efficient on-demand water heater, the combination of water and energy savings continues to add up each day.
