This item was just what the Doctor ordered. With the car I have, there are a lot of humps, and molded pockets on my dash. I could not get a normal sticky phone holder installed in a convenient spot. I also wanted to avoid the windshield stuck ones, as I hate my view being obstructed.The mount clips right on as advertised, and has multiple angles to set your phone to. The arms extend to accommodate my S8 with Otterbox, with no problems. I am very pleased with this purchase, and have since bought 3 more as gifts.

Works as advertised. It’s very light. Once a phone is put into it, the vent slots will fall down. To avoid this, the best option is to use the lowest slot on the vent. It has fallen out with cold A/C and a rough road, or a sharp turn. There are better products for more money out there.

Not working in the area of properly accepting the phone as you insert into the cradle. The weight of the phone appears not to be enough to close the side arms. One must shove the phone deeper into the cradle to properly engage the side arms (phone is a samsung s6). Another issue is that the vent grips are to large to fit into the vent in all but one car vent (annoying-vent fits the amazon description for acceptable types of vents). Would have returned it but I didn't act on it in time. Purchased another vendors cradle that works much better.

Posted by Courtney... Great quality, easy to install. I was placing my phone on my car console which would always go sliding in between seats or onto the floor. I didn't give it 5 stars only because it's a phone holder (ingenious for the car) but nothing that excites me too much other than for it's practicality.

Cool little device, keeps phone out of the way but if you need phone for GPS it's near and stable to hear directions. Also being on the dash verses your cup holder, you are most likely not to forget to take it with you when you get out of your car. Simple to use.

The only way it held my note 8 is if it had no case at all. So I was dissapointed. I refuse to put my phone against metal with no case on it.

After purchasing this holder/mount, I am still looking for the perfect phone mount that will support a Samsung Note 8. I had high hopes for this unit but as soon as I got it, I knew it was not going to work. The device is stiff in its opening and closing thus not allowing one handed use. Also the clip mount for the vent is not tight enough to keep my phone from falling off after 5 mins of driving. I will continue with my quest for a better mount that wont interfere with my Samsung surface charging.

Great for any size phone, holds it nice and solid. Definitely recommend.

Holds my phone really well and it doesn't fall out when it's in the mount. The mount isn't as smooth as when I place my phone into it I have to kind of put more pressure for the mount to grip my phone. A issue I found with the mount was that if you let the mount grip onto where your car air vent is, your phone will block that air flow. When I use it in the winter time and blast the heat, my phone also heats up quite a bit after awhile.

Generally a good product, but if you like to use your phone for navigation in horizontal pozition, it won’t work and come loose as soon as you turn the devise from vertical to horizontal.... too bad.P.S.I can’t hold it against the seller though. It is stated in description that it would not work horizontal. I should have read more carefully

I use it for my galaxy s7 edge and i love it. When you hook it up on your vent and have aac or cool air blowing behind the phone it basically cools your phone down. Even if you have your screen on all the time. Now i wouldnt do that when you have your heat on. U know what i mean. :)I bought it again for my other car.

Bought the item based on the reviews. Arrived at the house. Super Geeked. Then I put the phone in the holder and to my shock and horror it DID NOT FIT....honestly I could have made it fit....but I put the pliers down and packed up the holder and return shipping label... item looked well made.For clarity I have the Note 9 and the OEM Samsung Drop Tested case...
