Ridiculous
Far too narrow. There are several ways to drill these: 1, with a hand-held drill, 2, with a pillar/post drill, but for a more accurate drill, 3, on the lathe. None are suited for slimline pens.Any pens actually! Buy a thicker, square wood.

Fountain pens
Love these pen blanks. My pens look great!

Cut far too thin, they all split during drilling.
They left no excess on these blanks, every single piece cracked while drilling. Total waste. By the time you drill to the size required for a slimline pen bore there is only about 2mm of material left at the edges and every one split on the pillar drill no matter how gentle I was

Do not buy if you are turning pens
Unfortunately these blanks were cut to thin for pen turning. They need to be square. The woods are nice, but need to be aware to allow for more material after drilling a 7mm hole through the blank. Seller should realise this. I would like my money back.
