I bought this for my mom who sleeps with her ipad air 2. this is the perfect size, small so that it can fit in tight spaces. the body is made of metal and is quite sturdy, but it falls short on the swivel head. The mount for the ipad and the locking screw that connects to the metal ball head is plastic. I can see this failing if over torqued. Install was easy, though the base 10mm bolt was so tight I had to use an impact driver to release the bolt. it was so tight that the supplied 10mm wrench was hurting my hand, but the impact driver took it right off with ease. for any without an impact drive you may need to use a better 10mm socket and regular socket wrench. the tool supplied doesnt create enough torque and can strip the bolts.

This tablet and phone holder is very awesome and very well built this holder clamps on and is very sturdy works well with tablet and phone. Definitely would recommend fixing to order another myself

The OATSBASF Phone & Tablet Holder is a solid pick, but getting it set up is a bit like solving a puzzle without all the clues. The instructions aren't much help, so you're pretty much left guessing on how to get everything assembled. For instance, who would guess that the nuts on each arm, essential for adjusting the holder, are sneakily hidden behind a silver covering? And then, figuring out that you need to pop those covers off to access the nuts with the supplied tool for loosening and tightening is another step that's not exactly intuitive. Because of these setup snags, I'm leaning towards giving it 4 stars out of 5. Don't get me wrong, once you've got it all figured out and set up, this holder is fantastic - sturdy, versatile, and really delivers on its promise. It's just that getting to that point is more of an adventure than it needs to be. So, heads up: a bit of patience during setup turns into a lot of payoff in use.

I must say I do purchase quite a few things from Amazon, this one actually works very well mind you loosening and tightening up the nut that holds it in place can be a little bit of a pain but once you get past that it’s a solid product

Uses a bolt to tighten. If you're looking for something that's easily adjustable for positioning a tablet while laying in bed, this is not for you. If you're looking for something that'll mount to a table and where you'll set it up and want it to not ever move then this is pretty good.

The piece that holds the phone doesn’t stay still, it moves and falls off the ball that holds it. I can’t even imagine if it were a tablet. The pegs on the back of the phone holder block the camera lens so you can’t use it for flatlay pics or vids. Nor can I record my recipe videos unless I put a toothpick on to hold it. I would return or put in a case but didn’t use it until I came back from Spain so the time frame is off. Don’t waste your money!!!

Without question this is the best tablet/phone stand or accessory I have ever purchased. Sturdy, easy to adjust and can contort to just about any angle or position. ☆☆☆☆☆

It could be a nice holder for your phone and tablet, if you could adjust the nuts and bolts that make up joints, but you can’t. I have one nut and bolt too tight and it takes both hands to bend it. I tried my socket set and nut driver set to loosen the nut and bolt. They don’t fit. There isn’t enough room to get a needle nose pliers in there. I even cut a slot to make the bolt into a screw, but it was still too tight to unloosen. If they had a handle on the bolt, so you could loosen and then tighten the joint every time you adjust it, it would be a great set up.

Der Arm ist super, leider stimmt die in der Produktbeschreibung angeführt Aufnahmegröße für Geräte nicht. Die Klammer hält maximal 25cm breite Geräte, nicht 32cm wie angegeben. Für mich daher leider unbrauchbar.

This is one industrial arm. I wish however that the tablet holding device was of equal sturdiness. The ball joint is great, but the transition to the tablet holder is mired by light weight plastic that sags when loaded. I was far below the weight limit but my tablet routinely looks at the floor. I had to reinforce with zip ties. Rather disappointed, but the workaround is functional and doesn't show, so 4 Stars it is.

My boyfriend was really happy with this and it worked great for his ipad and he got it set up super quick.
