They don't seem powerful enough to attract the gnats/fruit flies. The brand I used about a year ago were smaller and worked much better.

These are unobtrusive and quiet. They do work but not as well as the big fly zapper. When they work, the zap is pretty quiet and almost unnoticeable. The light is extremely bright so I would not use eye level. We have them placed in our kitchen close to the fruit bowl and around the house under the windows. This is one if those I am neither super excited nor against. I think they do enough to keep using them and I don't feel it was a waste of money. I also don't feel like they are the best thing ever either.

Not worth the money. Never seen an insect or bug in any of them.

These do not seem to lure and zap the flies. It could be the light...but, the flies don't go near it.

In 3 months of use, the six items cached 2 mosquitos.

I placed these little zappers throughout my home as I have had those tiny little flies no matter where I go in the house. My bathroom one seemed to catch the most of them. Possibly because it is mostly dark in there unless you turn a light on. But the others do catch them too. Also found a moth that had been zapped. If you have a guest room, you can turn it off so the blue light doesn't bother them or you can also use it as a night light. Love them!

I bought this product to kill some fruit flies that invaded my kitchen. The purple light is supposed to lure them in and zap them. However, I’m not sure fruit flies are actually attracted to it. I’ve had the units plugged in for a few days and yet I still have fruit flies. Is this device only meant for other insects? In my opinion I would think so, beware of buying this product and what you hope that it might achieve.

I got these to help with the little fruit Flys that we get every so often. I like how there are 6 of them so that we can spread them around our place. With in a week each 1 got between 4 to 6 bugs. It is also easy to take the cover off to brush off the dead bugs.
