Nice wheel, tire is a bit weird
That tire was infuriating to get on the bead. It was very much off the bead when it arrived. That's probably because it had no air in it. I had to fight with it for quite a while to get it to bead up. That might have something to do with the fact that I've never messed with a 26x4 tire before, but I have tons of experience with other tires, and I've only ever had so much trouble with getting a solid tire on a hub motor.Once it's finally on there, it's quite nice. I'm using it for the front of a completely custom trike. If you need some ideas for what fits, I'm using these forks https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0C5858PVF/ and these brakes https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CP9WBWMT/The brakes were a bit weird, since I had to go looking through all of my brakes to find ones that mounted to those forks. The forks were all I had that worked with this, so I was lucky that I had something. The tire is kind of thin, but that seems to be par for the course for 26x4 tires. I do wonder how long it will last. I'm pretty sure I'll be replacing it with a tire that costs nearly as much as this whole setup eventually.By the way, the bolts are there. They are inside of those big plate things that are bolted onto the rim. I don't know if those have a specific name, but you have to pull the plate off of the bolts. Don't toss those.
