I needed a new pump for my gas central heating to get upstairs radiators to work. I've never been impressed with them and so decided to go Green. My cottage is very old and small, with only two bedrooms, so it isn't a major exercise. I looked at various "best heaters" website and found this Dimplex. Not only did it get high ratings, I could find nothing else to match its high spec and stylishness. I have the graphite one and it just seems to disappear. Much nicer than my ugly great white radiator, which will soon be removed. It arrived quickly, a day ahead of schedule (with good communications from Amazon). I am so pleased with it I am about to order a second for the guest room, which serves as my office. However, a word of warning. At first I tried to programme it using the inbuilt panel. Hopeless,. Really lost my patience - and I'm good at this kind of thing (even though I'm older than six!) I loaded the App. Joy! So easy to use. All set up in no time and easy to tweak afterwards. The heater warms the room quickly and the nature of the heat seems pleasant, not to dry. My power supplier is Octopus, so I am able to check my electricity usage easily. Its gone up, of course, but not painfully. Well pleased with that. Despite the caveat about the inbuilt panel, I still give it maximum stars.

Excellent heater I use for the dental surgery. Heats up nicely. Easy to use with app. A great help for weekly setting. Not expensive to use . Had one before for 10 years

I was very hopeful when I ordered this heater having read the reviews. It is aesthetically pleasing well made, and light weight to move around. It heated a 16 x 11 foot room well and heats up quickly. As others have said, it clicks as the temperature increases or decreases, although I didn't have a problem with this. Unfortunately it had a bit of a buzzing sound when used it for the first week, but this noise continued to increase rendering the heater unusable. Amazon helpfully organised a return and refund with no issues. I am now trying to decide whether I take a chance and order the same heater again or look at something else.

Been using this for a while now. Brilliant for quickly heating a room up in early Spring or Autumn when you don’t really need to turn the central heating on. Connects easily with the app.

I bought it not long ago, what I want to say, it was not expected that in the description, without noise, it starts to make sounds when it heats up that it explodes, I gut it, so I gave it 4 stars.

Avoid this heater, more often than not it makes an extremely loud high pitch noise even the dog can't bear. It's unusable. Very disappointing

Excellent. Made the playhouse warm and cosy. On wheels so we can move easily.

I've persevered for a few weeks with this heater before deciding to return it and write this review. Its a fantastic heater, I love the colour of it, the bluetooth function is brilliant. However, if the heat setting is anything other than low, the unit has a really annoying buzzing sound that's gets into the brain. It then clicks, clicks, and clicks again when cooling down once it's reached temperature and the heating element has switched off. I really wanted to keep this heater but the annoying sound is just too much for me and my wife. It could be that I've just got a bad one, I have to admit it was 'an opened box' product (like new on the Amazon description) and perhaps it had been sent back for the very buzzing sound I'm not happy with.
