My daughter is slightly obsessed with Tom Cruise and Top Gun is her favorite movie. She decided to dress like Maverick for Halloween. It was PERFECT. She really looked cute! I was very impressed with the quality of the costume.

Only issue was a Confederate flag was on the arm band... Should of been the American flag ..

We bought this for our son to wear to school. He tried it on and it fit well and was decent quality. However, I was taken back when I saw the patch on his arm of an eagle with two confederate flags. Thank goodness I saw it before he wore it to school. Needless to say I removed the patch. But who puts this on anything let alone a kids costume. Insane!

My grandson loves this. I also purchased the Maverick helmet. Perfect for using the imagination. Made a jet out of a large box and he played for hours.

Fit true to size. Belt was on the long side. Nice accessories included. Unusual there was a confederate flag on right sleeve (had to cover for school function). Good quality costume for the price.

Be sure to size up one size. My grandson is a 4-5 little kids and I purchased the 6-7 and it fit perfectly! He loves it, especially the aviators!!

The reviews that talk about this costume having a confederate flag are true. So are the reviews that don't have a confederate flag. I ordered one of these (size 12/14), and when it arrived, not only did it have a confederate flag patch, it had sticky residue from what I'm assuming was some poor parent who needed this in a pinch, duct taped around the arm to cover the confederate flag, removed the duct tape, and then returned the item, because who even wants that kinda of bad juju in the house.I immediately returned it and ordered the exact same item as a replacement. The replacement arrived the next day, in perfect condition, with the Tomcat patch instead of the confederate flag patch. It's a cute, well-made costume with cute accessories...if you get the right one. Not sure if this is a southern market vs northern market thing. I'm in the south and got one of each.So, if you're thinking about getting one of these, just budget enough time to return it a few times til you get the correct, non-racist one. And if the confederate flag is your thing, well you might just get lucky the first time, but I hope you get the sticky residue ones every time!

This costume was a much nicer quality than I was expecting and for really well. Runs true to size.

Bought for my four year old. Loved this. So cute came with everything you need. Awesome costume. Sized up to fit snow suit underneath. Worked out great.
