One of the best document scanners I have ever owned.
I am going to be honest and say I am blown away with this scanner. I was not bothered in its portability as it will not be used outside but I had 600 pages of old documents that I wanted to archive before I shredded them. I have a normal flatbed scanner thats fantastic for photos but you can only scan them one at a time.With this WorkForce you can load up multiple pages (I did 20 - 25 at a time) and it will scan both sides it only a minute or two. I can not get across how fast this scanner is and while it was more than I really wanted to pay, I have not hesitation in saying it was worth every penny.

Could be better
Although good at making copies, the software provided is not very good, keeps losing connection even when connected by usb, wifi is difficult to connect also.

problematic trying to scan multiple pages
This scanner is advertised as having a 25 page sheet feeder, which would indicate that you can scan 25 pages at a time. When loaded with only 10 pages it jammed up every couple of pages.It also says it is suitable for scanning up to 500 pages a day, which was another reason I bought it as I thought it would be user friendly.Unfortunately this was not the case, so I returned it and bought a different scanner.

Doesn’t work on WiFi
Doesn’t work on wireless connection. Really difficult to set up and I’m no technophobe. Avoid and go with a different model. Seems like let down on software interface Shame because it could be a nice piece of kit if it worked

Brilliant portable scanner
Was brought as a gift due to working from home. Does exactly what it was needed for and not heard of any complaints from the user.

Amazon mis-selling DS 310
Advertised on Amazon as being wireless and with batteries. WRONG!!!!! Requires mains power and if does not work via Wi-fi. Talk about mis-selling

setup impossible
I will get there in the end but the instructions leave me high and dry half way through set up to my iphone. I have spent 90 minutes on it so far, armed with all the support pages docs. They seem to have not tested the docs with new users and assume knowledge I do not have. I have set up thousands of gadgets over the years. It will be easy when I know how.
