Worth $20
I thought about writing a terrible review. After 2 tries, it was still wonky fit and uncomfortable. I figured I’d give one more go before I made a decision. Conclusion, absolutely DO NOT follow directions. Directions say; 1. Boil water 2. Pour water into cup and dunk mouth guard for 1 minute 3. Bite and suck for 30 seconds 4. Run under cold water. I tried to a T the first go, absolute crap. Re-dunked for 3 min 2nd time around, still crap. 3rd go, brought water to boil, dunked it directly into pot (use fork or knife to prevent it from touching bottom or sides), left for 4 min. Bit, then dunked into ice water. 3rd time was a charm. Fits and conforms nicely and very comfortable and graphics are clear and did not come off. The inner liner is very dense and stiff and will require a little more extreme fitting than the company believes it does. Other than the fitting issues it seems to be great.

Great mouthguard for daily BJJ training!
Great mouth piece! I use it for BJJ training but I'm would be confident using this for striking/stand up. The mouth guard has enough body and thickness to it without being overly large or cumbersome while training. The instructions are easy to follow and mold which provides a secure fit. I've used plenty of other mouth pieces by Everlast, Sisu, Title boxing, etc. and I have to say Damage Control mouth guards have been the most comfortable, secure, and durable.

Really nice mouthguard
Really nice mouthguard for jiu-jitsu or any grappling molded really well and the graphic didnt get messed up, if molded right it will lock in tight so it wont come out during heavy breathing..

Teeth went right through it on fitting
Bought this for MMA/BJJ practice. It's thick, but far too soft/flimsy for serious use. It arrived today and my teeth went right through it on fitting.

Almost as good as a Custom mouthpiece
If you mold this correctly it's really almost as good as a professional custom mouthpiece. Make sure you get the Extreme model which has much more material and rides higher up in the gumline. When fitting you have to create a sort of vacuum suck in your mouth so it can really mold on the front and back of your teeth. And make sure you don't bite too hard and make the bottom part too thin or tear through it for when you get hit with uppercuts or knees : )

Something to get use to…
FYI: I use it for sleepdon’t treat it like any regular (sport) mouth guard. It’s HARD and has to sit in the boiling, hot water for a while. From there it will be soft (enough) to mold. I had to (re) mold twice for a better and comfortable fit.

Nice
Feels very substantial.I personally think it's worth it.Edit: Nov. 6, 2024. I train in Muay Thai, judo, and BJJ regularly and it's still holding up very well.I highly recommend this mouthguard.
