Great block! My new snowplow raised much too quickly due to different geometry in the mounting. As I could not slow down my winch, I simply added this nice snatch block, which has effectively decreased the speed by half and increased the lift by two. Win-win in my book. I am using this with synthetic cable, and has performed well thus far for hours of snow plowing. I did file the pulley groove smooth in two locations where the moulding flash left a small ridge, mainly to protect my cable. I also greased the sleeve bearing and bolt, to further reduce friction. It is a very durable and affordable item. Will also come in handy for those tough pulls. Every UTV/ATV with a winch should own one!

Made very well. Able to lift quite a bit. Easy to install

The wheel is a poorly made die cast aluminum. The inner edges are sharp enough to cut any rope which runs against them. Being aluminum, I doubt it would last very long against wire rope. The sheave has no bearing at all, only a steel spacer which doesn't fit tightly on either the ID or OD. The pivot of the hook has no bearing either, simply a steel washer, which binds as you try to turn it.

Works very well, though I was purchasing 2 pulleys for the price/picture.

I guess it is worth the money. Cheaply made but I'm not asking it to do more than 700@'s.

Pulleys are heavy duty. The quality of the material and the price are great!

My application wasn't too demanding, but the price was right & these worked fine with the 3/8" rope I used to hoist some things (about 75lbs up a 50' hillside). So I can't vouch for a 2 ton load, but if I had one, I might go with something more heavy duty.
